NDIIT Delhi Admission Process

New Delhi Institute of Information Technology and Management (NDIITM), Delhi, is said to be young in terms, yet this institution has taken up its 'right place' of management education very quickly. Under the umbrella of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the institute offers postgraduate and doctoral programs in management founded on professional management talent required in the evolving global economy. NDIITM's admission processes select the most suited participants for management programs. This institute also recognizes scores in national-level management entrance tests, which include CAT (Common Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test), and ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions).

Very few things are considered while selection. Once the results of the entrance examination are out, NDIITM starts with its shortlisting and selection process. Aspects into consideration for the shortlisting of candidates for interview include entrance test scores, academic performance, and experience (if applicable). Candidates who successfully pass into the shortlist are then called for further selection rounds, most likely a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

Application Process

This process includes the following steps to get admission in NDIITM for the PGDM program:

1. Sit in any of the accepted entrance tests (that include CAT, XAT, MAT, or ATMA) and obtain an acceptable score.

2. Open the official NDIITM website and browse through the admissions section.

3. Fill an online application form with the required personal details, academic details, and entrance-exam scores.

4. Upload documents, usually including:

  • Passport-size photograph
  • Proof of Date of Birth
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate (if available, or provisional certificate)
  • Entrance exam score card
  • Work experience certificate (if applicable)

5. Follow the instructions on the website for the application fee. The amount can be paid through online modes such as credit or debit cards or net banking.

6. Submit the complete application form along with all necessary documents.

7. After submission, one can track the application status through the institute's portal or communication channels.

8. In case of being shortlisted, one will receive an invitation for GD and PI rounds. These are mostly conducted at the NDIITM campus in Kalkaji, New Delhi.

9. Prepare well for the GD and PI rounds. The topics for GDs are usually based on current affairs, business scenarios, or abstract themes to judge your analytical and communication skills. The PI aims to see your personality, career goals, and the program's suitability.

10. The result after GD and PI is awaited. The institute declares the result on its website and communicates individually over email or SMS.

11. In case of selection, you will have to confirm your admission by paying the required fees and submitting the necessary documents before the stipulated time.

12. Complete the admission formalities, including document verification and medical check-up (if required) at the institute.

Degree wise Admission Process

PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management): Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is the flagship program of NDIITM wherein the number of intake approved by the institute is 120 for the PGDM program. The PGDM admission process includes:

  1. The candidates need to possess a graduate degree in any discipline from any recognized university.
  2. Candidates will need to have a valid score on any of the entrance tests accepted, which include CAT, XAT, MAT, or ATMA.
  3. Entrance test score is one of the most important parameters for shortlisting in the next round.
  4. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
  5. Admission is made through a composite score of entrance exam results, academic background, work experience (if any), and performance in GD and PI.
