Biotechnology is an emerging discipline and is a combination of education in engineering science and biology. It involves research and development in the areas of agriculture, medicine and bio-research. Biotechnology engineering provides foundation in engineering, chemistry, genetics, bio-chemistry and microbiology. It has applications in the field of animal husbandry, agriculture, energy production and conservation, pollution control and research and development in the field of medicines, vaccines, fertilizers and insecticides.

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in Class 12 or equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks as an aggregate in the optional subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics, with English as one of the languages of study. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Admission Details

Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India, fall under General Category. Admission to Engineering program under General Category is based on merit in the All India Entrance Test - NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test).

Yes, my college is well equipped with all the necessary amenities and all are well maintained. They have taken to see to it that all the Essential equipments are provided to the students. The canteen provides very healthy and hygienic food.
