Bachelor of Technology in Computer & Communication Engineering is designed to provide expertise to those students who seek specialization in Computer Communication Technologies and Telecommunications. The main focus of the programme is on Computer Networks (Wired and Wireless) and Telecommunications technologies. The course offers subjects in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Multimedia Communications and Big Data Analytics. Emphasis is placed throughout the course on developing the practical skills and in-depth knowledge required by the present industrial scenario. This course, equips students to engage in research focusing on the fusion of multi-disciplinary skills employed in designing modern computing devices with communication channels, communication systems with advanced computer algorithms and systems.

Today, in India there is huge demand of Network Professionals and a large number of NMAMIT alumni are already placed in companies focused on Network Technologies like Nutanix, Broadcom, Cisco, Wipro, Akamai, VMWare, Crowdfire, Sony, Phillips, HCL, Alctel, Informatica, Dell EMC, Juniper, TEK Systems, Texas, Sonata, Cohesity etc.

The course provides experiential learning on basic and advanced courses in computer science, communication networks, security and associated subjects.

It is a professional degree that integrates communication techniques, problem-solving strategies, simulation skills and mathematical foundations with the hands-on training required to solve real-world problems.

Eligibility Criteria

A pass in the 12th standard or equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks as an aggregate in the optional subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computers/Electronics, with English being one of the languages of study.
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Admission Details

Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India, fall under General Category. Admission to Engineering program under General Category is based on merit in the All India Entrance Test - NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test).

College Infrastructure

The campus of NMAMIT college has a great infrastructure .There are separate blocks for the 1st , 2nd ,3rd and 4th year students , The departments have there own dedicated floor , the college provides the greenery in the campus by having trees and park .

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at NMAM Institute of Tecnology is well-developed and student-friendly. The campus is spacious and green offering a peaceful environment for learning. Classroom are modern well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors and smart boards to aids effective teaching.

I can say that nmamit is a good college so go for it

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure was good when we first came into the college , which was this year and now since the college administration is trying to improve the infrastructure and its taking a shape now, i am assuming that when our juniors come the infrastructure will be good! The wifi is good in some places and not good in some other places, library is spacious and has all the books which are required.
