Eligibility standards differ according to the programme. Candidates in most undergraduate courses need to have 10+2 passed from a recognised board. Postgraduate courses need a bachelor's degree in the same field. Course-wise different academic standards may be needed.
PCTE Group of Institutes comprises a complete spectrum of courses in different fields of study. These include sixteen full courses that the institute offers, which are part and parcel of under graduate to post graduate levels.
Group of Institutes admission to BBA programme is on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination. PCTE has 510 seats for this programme.
Candidates are accepted on the basis of merit of previous academic marks and performance at a Personal Interview organised by PCTE. The institute has a sanctioned intake of 360 seats for BCA.
Admission to the B.Com (Hons) course is on the merit of the qualifying examination. PCTE has 270 seats for this course.
Admission to B.Tech courses is done by Punjab Admission counselling. There are 150 seats available in PCTE for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.
MBA Admission Process involves assessment of previous academic marks, Group Discussion performance, and Personal Interviews held by PCTE. The institution provides 120 seats for its regular MBA programme and 60 seats for MBA International Business.
Entry to the B.Pharma course is granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam. PCTE has an approved strength of 100 seats for this course.
Admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination. The institute provides 60 seats for the BTTM course.
The admission to the BHMCT course is based on the merit of the qualifying examination. PCTE provides 60 seats for this course.
