Decent overall with smart classrooms, library, labs, sports ground and a large canteen. However, campus is average-sized, old buildings need maintenance, overcrowding and poor WiFi affect experience. Good facilities but inconsistent upkeep.
PGDAV College academics are generally rated around —good faculty, DU curriculum, and supportive teachers, but consistency varies and rigor depends on student effort. Exposure is decent, but self-study plays a major role in scoring well.
PGDAV College placement is average: limited seats, median ~4.5 LPA, top recruiters visit but off-campus effort is crucial for better opportunities. Placements vary by course; commerce students often get better roles than others. Strong internships, skills, and networking significantly improve your chances beyond campus drives.
PGDAV College offers strong value for money due to very low fees and decent academics. However, average placements and infrastructure limit overall ROI. Good budget option, but not top-tier in exposure or career outcomes.
Campus life at P.G.D.A.V. College is lively and student-driven. Fests, societies, and peer networks keep things engaging, though infrastructure is modest. It’s more about people and participation than facilities, making it vibrant yet simple.
College Infrastructure well designed and classes also well designed and college ground also huge well cleaned.Im college the sanitation also good and they also care about proper hygiene in college campus.
The academics in the college very good professor are explain everything in brief the keep regular classes and also gave homeworks regular basis and also give assignment and continuous assessment in college.
In the college placement are also good and in college we have placementcell which is provided intership program and after internship program the give placement in big firms or a companies recently some big companies visited in the college.
Being part of Delhi University, it follows a standard curriculum with qualified and supportive faculty, giving decent academic value Most students consider it “worth it for the price” because you get a DU degree, exposure, and basic facilities at a very low cost
College life is a mix of learning, friendships, and new experiences. It helps build confidence, independence, and skills while creating memories through studies, fun, and personal growth.also help growing knowledge
PGDAV College, a part of Delhi University, offers a balanced academic and campus experience. The campus is well-connected and has facilities like a library, sports ground, canteen, and smart classrooms. Campus life is decent with active societies, cultural events, and sports activities that help students grow personally and socially. While infrastructure is average, students get good exposure, supportive faculty, and opportunities for participation, making college life engaging and meaningful ..
College Infra is decent not too good as compared to other DU colleges and the normal classes lack good benches like almost all the benches are in a really bad condition with scratches and marks. College looks really good from the front side with a lot of greenery but as we move further towards the back side of the college it really loses it's ambiance. Canteen could've been bigger it's really small compared to other colleges. However labs and libraries are good in condition overall making the infra decent.
Teachers of B.Com(H) are good i mean they have good knowledge and few teachers are really good in subject knowledge and they are really communicative and involved with students but still some teachers are arrogant, no doubt they too have good knowledge but they lack skills to build a better bond with students and create a healthy learning environment but I think this problem is faced almost everywhere.
I'm currently in my 1st year but ya I am in contact with a lot of my seniors and companies do come to the college for placements but I've heard the roles that they offer and their pay is not as good. Companies like Deloitte, EY, HDFC etc do come to our college.
I mean the college fees is really very less if we see around 10-15k for the whole year and it's totally worth it completing your degree in such nominal cost. However the cost of living in Delhi itself is pretty high so it even outs the money saved but still compared to other colleges fees is really affordable for any person coming from any background.
Nothing fancy just a normal government college with basic lifestyle that ever student lives in any other college except when it's the fest season the college ambiance really changes. Some students and staff are really understanding some are not but that's fine you'll find your way through it.
The college has basic but functional infrastructure with classrooms, labs, a library, and one of the larger playgrounds in DU. However, many students report that parts of the campus are outdated, with issues like poor maintenance, average classrooms, and weak Wi-Fi connectivity.
Academically, the college performs better. Faculty members are generally experienced and supportive, and the curriculum follows DU standards. While teaching quality is decent, consistency can vary between departments.
Placements are average, with limited companies visiting campus. Only a small percentage of students get placed, and the average package is around ₹3–4 LPA. Many students rely on off-campus opportunities or higher studies.
This is one of the biggest advantages. Fees are relatively low, making it a good ROI college, especially for commerce and arts courses.
Campus life is moderate. There are active societies, sports, and events, but the overall vibe is not as vibrant as top DU colleges.
My college has almost every facilities .It has library which is good , it has canteen and also have sports centre .It don't have hostels and also it has wifi but it does not work properly and network issue is also seen inside campus
Currently I am pursuing bcom hons and also I love to study marketing. The teachers are cooperative and good at teaching their subjects . They are friendly and always ready to help the students . The academic facilities are good
The placement cell of our college is quite active. It always provide job and internship opportunities. Also I guess the minimum package offered is around 3 LPA . Around 60% of students were placed last year
The fees of my college is around 15k -20k which is I guess fine and pocket friendly for pursuing the course
The campus life is also good. The teachers as well as seniors are very cooperative and friendly. The society of our colleges are quite active and good
the college infrastructure is quite on a low side as the classrooms need to be renovated, the campus is quite big but there are lot of issued such as network issues not accessible in most parts of the college, canteen hygiene is a big concern.
the overall delhi university curriculum is followed in every college which is also kind of outdated while other universities offer new age courses in today’s time its just tag of delhi university for which students come here
overall placement is good ad the placement cell is very active, i can tell this because i am also a part of placement cell, a very good number of students get placed, there is also annual internship fair held in college in which various big companies come in the college and provide internships to students
average college not so value for money can get better college in du in terms of money if your cuet score is good
Campus life i would say is totally dependent on the type of friends you get being a student from punjab i kind if feel excluded while majority of students are from haryana and sometimes i don’t get the vide although they are great but on a comparison i would conclude that i was more extrovert in my school life as the people around me were like me
the college is overall good but a major part depends upon how you want your college life to be if you would only count negative points then you would keep blaming all your college life but on the other side one should just go with the flow and enjoy each part of college life
The Infrastructure of the college is decent .classrooms conditions is also average as now benches have became old and have not been replaced. There is no smart board in the classes .There is library for students and which is good .sports facilities for students are also good as there is proper ground for students and also all the sports equipments for playing. There is also indoor sports room.Wifi facility is not good at all in the college and due to this there is a lot of network issue in the college. There is no hostel facility for students in the college . The Canteen is Average. Overall infrastructure is not good.
I am currently perusing Bcom (Hons) as i come from commerce background and want to build my career in this field as I am planning to go for an MBA in future . The quality of teaching is average . The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments, no what we study doesn't make us ready for the job .
The quality of placements in my college is average but trying to improve . The highest placement package , which is given on the website of the college 25LPA . Average Package is given 4.5 LPA and number of students placed is 70+ and Domains are 10+. Some of the past associates are Deloitte, Ey, Amazon, Accenture, BDO, DE shaw and company, Air India , just dial ,Decathlon, McDonald's , Axis Bank, lenskart , pwc, HDFC Bank.
My course cost per year is 15730. Yes , I feel the cost of my course is worth as the academics Is average and alongside academics we get a lot of exposure as I am part of placement cell where I am in a corporate outreach department. So this helps me to build my confidence and improve my communication skills and this is something which is required by most of the candidates when they go in any field also we get exposure to join other societies such as enactus , dance societies, music societies, NSS ,also we can participate in different case competitions .
The overall experience is good as in college the crowd is decent we get a chance to interact with different peoples from different states and lot of experiences shared by each students. When we connect with them as we become the part of different societies, we work as a team, we learn lots of skills such as team coordination, teamwork, hard work. We engage in different fun activities. We can go for outing together. The students are good. Also, the teachers are also good. They are very much supportive. Also , the location of the college's safe, yes it can handle emergencies also .
College have a decent infrastructure good teachers very helping in nature but the wifi facility is so bad and the campus is average library is decent it is not so good not so bad but the sitting arrangement is very bad and and in rainy season the classroom fill with plenty of water
The college have good teachers but they don't take serious the class they are helping in nature but the timing of teachers is decent they clear doubts but tey don't take the class seriously they have a good experience
The different company come into the college but they select only 2-3 students out of hundred students they get an average pakage of 3 to 4 lakh per annum its a decent pakage some students got nothing
Yes b.com program cost 15730 a year
Not so good not so bad
PGDAV College features one of Delhi University’s largest playgrounds and a famously spacious canteen. The campus includes smart classrooms, computer labs, and a well-stocked library. While lacking on-campus hostels, its Nehru Nagar location offers excellent metro connectivity. It’s a balanced environment for students focusing on both academics and sports.
I have completed my graduation, and to quality of education is good enough, the curriculum is followed as per defined by University of Delhi. And all guidelines issued by University of Delhi are followed.
PGDAV College has it's own Placement Cell, that functions well, towards bringing companies and providing students great opportunities to achieve. Al the numbers related to placement are clearly mentioned on college website very clearly.
Course cost per is decent enough, very low as compared to other colleges. It was totally worth paying.
Campus is average. It has various culturalal societies, departmental socities, along with that have sports activities that can engage students. Located on walking distance from Metro Station, just next to metro station.
Infrastructure is basically good but can be further improved. Class are well-maintained in the new building as compared to old building. Sports facilities are fabulous. Library is the best part. There is WiFi connectivity here. No hostels.
Faculty is very good and helpful. Good staff and good coverage of syllabus. Very good faculty for maths, commerce and statistics. The timetable is not good. Atleast 2-3 hours gap is there is eac class. Teachers often do cancel the classes just before 20-30 mins the actual time.
Placements are not good. Even though if there are 100% placements yet packages are not that high. Although placements have been improved and is improving every year still with the more efforts of the organization it can be further improved.
According to the fees which is very less that is 15000 per year, it is worth it. Money spent is actually very less as compared to the facilities provided or exposure provided. Overall placements are also reasonable.
Campus is comparatively small but good. Exposure is good. Societies are active and engaging. Fests and competitions held are also good. But less participation of college in organizing inter-college competitions. Location is very good. Just in front of metro station. Safe area.

Hi Virat
PGDAV is a good college but placements here are not good. It's accreditation is NAAC B. The faculty here is well qualified. The ranking of college depends upon various factors. However as per previous nirf rankings, this college was not under the list.
But no doubt it is
