There is no hostel facility for students in the college . The Canteen is Average. Overall infrastructure is not good.
I am currently perusing Bcom (Hons) as i come from commerce background and want to build my career in this field as I am planning to go for an MBA in future . The quality of teaching is average . The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments, no what we study doesn't make us ready for the job .
The quality of placements in my college is average but trying to improve . The highest placement package , which is given on the website of the college 25LPA . Average Package is given 4.5 LPA and number of students placed is 70+ and Domains are 10+. Some of the past associates are Deloitte, Ey, Amazon, Accenture, BDO, DE shaw and company, Air India , just dial ,Decathlon, McDonald's , Axis Bank, lenskart , pwc, HDFC Bank.
My course cost per year is 15730. Yes , I feel the cost of my course is worth as the academics Is average and alongside academics we get a lot of exposure as I am part of placement cell where I am in a corporate outreach department. So this helps me to build my confidence and improve my communication skills and this is something which is required by most of the candidates when they go in any field also we get exposure to join other societies such as enactus , dance societies, music societies, NSS ,also we can participate in different case competitions .
The overall experience is good as in college the crowd is decent we get a chance to interact with different peoples from different states and lot of experiences shared by each students. When we connect with them as we become the part of different societies, we work as a team, we learn lots of skills such as team coordination, teamwork, hard work. We engage in different fun activities. We can go for outing together. The students are good. Also, the teachers are also good. They are very much supportive. Also , the location of the college's safe, yes it can handle emergencies also .

Not so good not so bad
PGDAV College features one of Delhi University’s largest playgrounds and a famously spacious canteen. The campus includes smart classrooms, computer labs, and a well-stocked library. While lacking on-campus hostels, its Nehru Nagar location offers excellent metro connectivity. It’s a balanced environment for students focusing on both academics and sports.
I have completed my graduation, and to quality of education is good enough, the curriculum is followed as per defined by University of Delhi. And all guidelines issued by University of Delhi are followed.
PGDAV College has it's own Placement Cell, that functions well, towards bringing companies and providing students great opportunities to achieve. Al the numbers related to placement are clearly mentioned on college website very clearly.
Course cost per is decent enough, very low as compared to other colleges. It was totally worth paying.
Campus is average. It has various culturalal societies, departmental socities, along with that have sports activities that can engage students. Located on walking distance from Metro Station, just next to metro station.
Infrastructure is basically good but can be further improved. Class are well-maintained in the new building as compared to old building. Sports facilities are fabulous. Library is the best part. There is WiFi connectivity here. No hostels.
Faculty is very good and helpful. Good staff and good coverage of syllabus. Very good faculty for maths, commerce and statistics. The timetable is not good. Atleast 2-3 hours gap is there is eac class. Teachers often do cancel the classes just before 20-30 mins the actual time.
Placements are not good. Even though if there are 100% placements yet packages are not that high. Although placements have been improved and is improving every year still with the more efforts of the organization it can be further improved.
According to the fees which is very less that is 15000 per year, it is worth it. Money spent is actually very less as compared to the facilities provided or exposure provided. Overall placements are also reasonable.
Campus is comparatively small but good. Exposure is good. Societies are active and engaging. Fests and competitions held are also good. But less participation of college in organizing inter-college competitions. Location is very good. Just in front of metro station. Safe area.
The library is open for long hours and provides a large collection of books, journals, and reference materials for commerce and humanities. The canteen and mess offer a variety of food options at student-friendly prices. Medical facilities are decent, with regular health check-ups provided by the university.
The faculty members at PGDAV College are very supportive academically. Many teachers have Masters, M.Com, M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees, and some have earned university-level honors. They explain concepts clearly and guide students through presentations, internships, and exam preparation.
Placements for B.Com students at PGDAV College are average. About 45 to 50% of students find jobs each year. The highest salary typically ranges from ₹5 to 6 LPA, while the lowest is around ₹2 to 3 LPA. The companies that come to our campus include FutureLedger Consultants, FinServe Global, UrbanTrade India, NorthLoop Accounts Hub, and MetroBiz Retail Pvt. Ltd.
The college has all the necessary facilities, has a good and hygienic canteen at cheap prices, great faculty but somewhere it lacks infrastructure. Has a great ground, hygienic food, libraries are good.
The faculty does their best with teaching assignments and all the necessities and are quite helpful. Their way of teaching and making students learn is appreciated. I basically don't know much about others but our course has got a good faculty.
Don't know about the placements much as I haven't spoke to anyone about that but as much as I've discussed it with the seniors the placements are also quite good with the skills a students has. And students have got good offers.
Yes can be said that it does provide the value for money. As it has all the necessities, it has two affordable canteens and two grounds, not so bad infrastructure and the library experience is also quite good.
That's obviously great with the friend circle I'm having and the design of the college is also in a way that you also have a great atmosphere and as many connections you make in the college, the more you find it better.
Almost mentioned everything above. Like having all the necessities, about the food quality and its hygiene, good grounds and sports experience and a very reasonable fee structure. Has a great helpful faculty also provides good guidance and if I had to tell about the seniors I've known I can basically say that I've got them great even who left the college after completion of their courses are still in touch with me and they stand with me even today, as I said above it's all about the connections.
There are well-furnished labs, classrooms and a library, and there is a free Wi-Fi connection in the college. The food provided by the mess is decent and in addition, the campus has various other refreshment outlets.
The teachers of my college were knowledgeable but management is not cooperative they should focus more on club activities rather the college facilities. This is the only bad thing of my college, which a don't like.
The companies that recruited students from the campus were Oki General, Amazon, Deloitte, Hdfc bank, ICICI Bank, Deskera, Kotak Mahindra Bank. Top roles offered at our campus are sales and marketing executive, assistant manager, HR manager, and business analysis.
The college infrastructure is average. It offers variety of facilities including computer labs. It has a decent Campus but it is not very big. The library is well-stocked and the auditorium is quite good.
Academics at PGDAV are solid since it's a DU college. The faculty is mix. Some professors are highly experienced and supportive while a few are average. The college offers good courses in commerce, arts and science.
Placements are improving but not as strong as top DU colleges like SRCC, Hindu or Hansraj. Many students rely on off-campus placements or higher studies instead of just campus recruitment. Average package is 3-4 LPA.
Good
The campus is not very big but it's well-maintained and clean. Classrooms are decent but not modernised everywhere. There is a canteen, common rooms and a small auditorium. Washrooms and basic facilities have improved over the years.
Faculty in many departments is experienced and supportive. Teachers are sincere, especially in the morning shift. Attendance is taken seriously in most classes. Study environment is better in morning shift than evening College.
Placement cell is active but limited companies come. Commerce and BA programme students get slightly more exposure. Majority of students opt for higher studies or government exams after graduation. Internship opportunities can be found t through college society.
Good
The college infrastructure is not so good as expected. Classes are overcrowded , furnitures are broken , soke of the ceiling are also not good. Somehow it is not so good. Canteens are maintained and are clean. It is the off campus of delhi University very less students wanted to get admission in this college
Faculty are qualified, they help their students improve their academic work and overall learning experience but sometimes lectures cancelled and critical engagement limited, there are some supportive professor and they are Highly knowledgeable.
Placement cell of the. College is supportive but outcome are depend on the department of the courses. B com and CS students report better than any other streams on this college .average package of my college is 5 lakh-7 lakhs.
Yes, it is taking low-fee compare to other delhi University colleges. Fees of the college approx 15k- 40k each course. Also provide good opportunities for B.com students
This college provides some cultural fests and other social activities through societies in the college ehich makes the campus life little bit nice and atmosphere is so good.

Hi Virat
PGDAV is a good college but placements here are not good. It's accreditation is NAAC B. The faculty here is well qualified. The ranking of college depends upon various factors. However as per previous nirf rankings, this college was not under the list.
But no doubt it is
