D.N. Patel College of Engineering, Nandurbar, under Poojya Sane Guruji Vidya Prasarak Mandal. Admission Procedures carried out in a very extensive and detailed fashion concerning the candidates selected from the worthy candidates. However, for most of these admissions, merit-based land on national and state-level entrance exams.
The college accepts three entrance examinations primarily for admission: JEE Main, GATE, and MHT CET. Of these, admission for an undergraduate course depends on the applicant's success with scores from the JEE Main and MHT CET. Meanwhile, the GATE will often be the determinant of admission to post-graduate courses.
It is common eligibility such that minimum qualification for undergraduate programs includes successful passing of HSC (10+2) examination from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as major subjects. For postgraduate courses, the candidate should hold a recognized bachelor's degree specifically in the engineering field concerned
Application Process
Application for D.N. Patel College of Engineering is different for every program.
For B.E. courses-
1. Clearing the test in JEE Main or MHT CET.
2. Registering in the relevant counselling process (JoSAA for JEE Main or State CET Cell for MHT CET).
3. Filling up the preference choice form at the time of counseling, giving priority to D.N. Patel College of Engineering.
4. After the allocation of seats, the process is to report to the College for document verification and the admission procedure.
Admission Process Degrees Wise
B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering): The college has six B.E. programs, accumulating an intake total of 336 seats. Admissions are based on JEE Main or MHT CET scores.
These are the programs available and the intake capacity for each:
Completing 10 + 2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry would qualify students of these programs. M.E. (Master of Engineering): The college has two M.E. courses for 36 students altogether. Almost entirely, admissions will depend on GATE scores. The two programs are: - M.E. in Mechanical Engineering (18) - M.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (18). To be eligible for these courses, the candidate shall have a B.E./B. Tech in the relevant area.
