PSIT Kanpur Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Infrastructure here is good. There are 6-8 hostels and 2 canteens and a Nescafe stall. The whole campus is air conditioned. Computer labs are updated and science laboratories are well equipped . There are 2 playgrounds and basketball courts and every hostel has a badminton court. The classrooms are spacious and are cleaned every day. Campus don't have the facility of Wi-Fi but hostels do have the facility. Every classroom has its own Projectors.

I am pursuing B.Tech here in the IT stream.Faculty here is kind of mixed. We have some good teachers with plenty of experience while some lack the art of teaching. The thing which I adore about faculty is that it is easily approachable here. They hear your doubts and try to resolve them. The staff is very polite and helpful and the lab attendants are also experienced. I have also seen some very experienced faculty from some very good institutions(not IIT).

Placement Cell here helps students in every way possible in landing on a job. Placement ratio here is constantly rising and recently Flipkart came in the campus and offered the package of 18 LPA to a CSE stream student. Companies do visit the campus so all you have to do is hustle in a proper way. Average package here is 5-8LPA.Mostly the placement is done for CSE and IT students. Recently EC students are also getting placed but rest all courses don't stand much in the race.

The course which I am pursuing costs me around 1.6LPA excluding hostel charges. As per my experience, the value of money is somewhat justified. We get all kinds of help from faculties and enough good resources and they help pus to be job-ready.

Sadly, Campus life here doesn't include any wow factor. Hostelers are not allowed outside after 6 pm which is quite unfair considering the college timings which are 9-5. Girl to boy ratio is almost equal. Canteens are good and spacious and campus is above average.

There is no dress code here and bus facility are available to local students.

Wi-fi facility is available to hostelers but is not available on the campus for day scholars. There are 2 playgrounds and basketball courts. The most beautiful building in the campus is Admin Block. The labs are properly maintained and updated and the library is average and is updated once a while.

There are some good teachers with plenty of experience and good communication skills while some lack the art of teaching. The institute follows the AKTU guidelines and the syllabus is regularly updated as per the university. Lab practicals are taken very seriously here and lab attendants are also very experienced and computer labs are also good.

Placements are good here. Placement cell helps students in numerous ways in getting a good job. There are demonstrations and training rounds before the actual placement session initiates. Average package here is 5-7 LPA and the highest package offered this year was 18LPA by Flipkart to a case student. Mostly the placement is done by CS and IT branch students.

There are ways in which we can get apart of our fees back to us such as scholarship tests, workshops and annual fests. The quality of study material here is good and the institute also plays their part well in making us job ready. Hence, as per my experience the value for money is justified.

Campus life here is no that exciting. There are regular lectures here and it feels more like school as we aren't allowed to go to canteen unless break period. Canteens are good and spacious. Girls to boy ratio is good here and students mostly are from near states.

Overall it is good but you have to hustle alot!

Laboratories are properly equipped and well maintained. The library is average and is updated once a while. One of the major drawbacks is its building as PSIT has unpainted walls which turn out to be quite boring.College also has the bank facility of SBI and 2 canteens and a nescafe outlet.

Currently, I am studying B.Tech in IT stream here and as per my experience, I have come across both types of faculty. Some are very experienced and are very good at conveying knowledge while some lack proper communication. The course curriculum here is strictly according to AKTU guidelines and is regularly updated. There is hardly any free lectures here and it focuses more on theoretical approach rather than practical knowledge.

Placement ratio of PSIT is one thing which attracts students. Placement Graph here is constantly rising and every year good companies visit the campus. This year, Flipkart offered the package of 18LPA to a CSE student. Average Package here is 4-6 LPA and lowest package ever offered was 2.5 LPA. Placement Cell helps students in every possible way in landing on a good job.

Students can also get some financial aid from the workshops and fests organized by the institute, I think the value for money is justified as we get enough resources and help from the faculties and they help us in every way to be job ready.

There are 3 canteens in the campus and 1 nescafe in the outlet.

I am persuing Btech in IT stream. I have come across both kind of faculty, some are good with plenty of experience while some lacked the art of teaching. We can easily approach the higher authority here. They hear our doubts and try to solve them. Lab attendant are also very experienced there and helpful. The faculty of CS and IT branch is comparatively better than other streams. There are regular lecture here with no free periods and college focuses more on theoretical approach.

Average package here is 5 to 8 lpa. Recently Flipkart came in the campus and offered the package of 18 lpa to a CS branch student.Mostly the placement are done for CS and IT branch student. There is also a rise in placements of EC branch.

The course which i am persuing cost me around 2,48,000 including hostel charges and I think that is justified. My room has its centralised AC and we get all the neccessity facility such as laundry and medical care. The value for money is justified as we get enough resources and help by the staff.The study material is also constantly updated in the curriculum. It is not that expensive as compared to other private colleges.

Yes my college have all the basic facilities that are required including labs, libraries wifi 24*7 also there is project and it is hygienic and well flourish with beautiful building and parks available in 89 acrece of campus.

I am pursing Electronic and communication enggg. The quality of teaching is fantabulous all teacher are well educated.. And what we learn is based on the technical thing that definitely makes us ready for the job.

The quality of placement is around 90 percent in Cs branch.. Around 60 percent overall student are placed highest pakage is 14 lakh and average pakage is 3.5 lakh.. Placement process through online screening and interview and yes clg is supportive

Yes college is value for money as approx 8 lakh in 4 year is worth of money because the infrastructure as well as placement is good and faculty and clg is also supportive so it is a worth for money. It's good.

Campus life is always been tremendous as we here learn a lot of new things and new environment we learn alot apart from this student involve in cultural fest like ignitia and college location is in highway kanpur agra.. Location is safe. Yes it can handle emergency.

At the last I like to add that all things are depends on us how we will take this if you are keen interest than this is the place for you.. If you want to study then definitely come here it is best college.

The college infrastructure is the best in the segment. The facilities provided to the students, faculties and the other staff members are very good. The classroom are good, laboratries are well equipped, hostels are well maintained.

The academic part of the college is very good and the curricullum is updated according to the recent devlopments in technologies. The training are also given accordingly. The teaching faculty is very good and supportive in nature.

Placements are one of the best part here. The college takes care of all training and also every student is given proper training according to the recent requirements of the companies visiting. The average pacakage is 4-5 lpa.

The college is a full value for money. The fee taken is very minimal and the figure and the facilities provided is matched perfectly.

There is lot of things in psit. The College has nice infrastructure with well furnished halls , labs , libraries or auditorium . Lecture halls are very spacious and have Centralised AC in whole campus. The hostel is also very good and it's food is too good . We have 3 canteens in our cllg and gym facility is also there.

There are regular classes from 9 to 5 . Attendence is mandatory . Academics of this College is good . Maximum faculty members are good . They are helpful and Their teaching style is also good. The curriculum is updated and I think it Makes me job ready.

Yes the quality of placements is very nice most of the students from our cllg gets placed every year. The highest package was of 26 lpa offered by Amazon . My college always supports the students and provides every possible help. The placement process is easy .The average salary is 5 lpa.

Yes I m completely satisfied and I feel I m getting my money's worth here . My course costs 3.2 Laks including hostel and mess fees .

The college infrastructure is up to the mark. The hostels mess facility is too good . The campus is full of Green atmosphere, pollution free and WiFi enabled. Libraries are well equipped with research papers or any book you need on any topics . It has good sports facilities and labs are also good .

I am studying in the stream of electronics and communication engineering because I m passionate to learn about robotics . Professors are highly qualified . Here the curriculum is very good and updated. Teaching method is so good .

For CS and EC students the placement is good . There average package is around 5 lakhs per year . And for other branches like ME, EE And CE the placement is average . The process is pleasant and the College is very supportive .

The campus life amazing in this college . There are so many clubs in which students can engage themselves like coding club, gate club , danzilien club and many more . The atmosphere is very decent and pollution free .

First the College fully AC . The infrastructure structure of the college is mind-blowing and lovely. The College is well equipped with all requirements. Students can avail WiFi facilities , classrooms have projectors and smartboards and many others things . Psit have also big sports ground for sport like football , volleyball , cricket etc. Totally clean and hygienic environment in the campus . Lush green lawns are there.

I m student of ECE branch and the quality of teaching is not bad . The curriculum is need to be updated . But faculty here is quite understanding and good at Their fields. But some of them are not up to the mark but they teach us as they can .

Our college has placement cell , which take cares of trainings and mock drives for the students . Placement cell is fully dedicated for students . Every year each and every student is placed in a reputed company . The average package from the college is if 5 lakhs . The highest package offered iss of 26 lakhs. the college is very much supportive.

The college is full very for money , my fees costs approx 2 lakhs per year including hostel fees . Because of their efforts and facilities I feel I m getting my money's worth .

The institute is very nice. All the necessary stuff are well equipped . The classrooms have smartboards and WiFi is available at different parts of campus. Hostels are Excellent and very spacious , breakfast ,lunch and dinner all are very nice , clean and hygienic.

The quality of teaching is in my experience is awesome . I m studying ECE here and yes our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field and yes it makes us job ready. Teachers put in really a lot of efforts to make us learn.

The placement scenario in our campus is quite good and highest package offered is 26 Lpa for CSE . The process is quite simple and efficient and the college supports in each step where we got stuck. The placementcell is also there to see our trainings , mock interviews n all.

Being a student of btech (ECE department) it is quite affordable my course cost 125,000 per year . I feel that the money is totally worthy , Because the amount of knowledge you are we r getting is really good.
