The college has a good infrastructure and well equipped labs with proper network connectivity. It has spacious lecture halls and hygienic washrooms. The college has sports grounds and a decent canteen area.
The college is decently well in academics but is not up to the mark in all aspects, as it lacks in certain important areas of providing experiential knowledge to students. The curriculum is old and inadequate to cater modern-day job demands.
The placement opportunities in the college are below average. The college claims to provide good job openings but in reality is unable to provide a respectable and stable job to even 30% of the total batch of students for a particular course.
College infrastructure is quite good. Smart board facilities. Lan port available for every bench All system are working and updated and work as well. Proper lab facilities. Library is of no use there is no wi -fi facility there system provided by them in library are century old and library incharge are so Annoying. There are are proper charging facility for laptops there.
Teachers are not as impressive as they mentioned in their portfolio that psit have best faculty support Even experienced teachers read through ppts and translate English in hindi . Unable to develop interest of students in class I studied most of the subjects through YouTube only which is a negative point Like I wasted my 8 to 10 hours in college and repeat those theoretical subjects in my hostel room unable to devote much time in developing skills or doing coding
I didn't know exact numbers like how many students placed. But companis are there at the campus. --->If you can communicate well . --->Explain your projects and speak about it like you really know it or build it. ---> know coding patterns instead of doing all 3000 leetcode problems ---> last have basics knowledge for core subjects as well specially DBMS , computer network, OS.
No value for money. I am not that studious before college. They forced to maintain 90 percent attendance , forced to attend lecture of inexperienced teachers Poor teacher support. They won't hear you and impose random fine .
Boring and not so happening
Infrastructure is only for show. Nothing will be there for your use. Very rude staff. Arrogant and disrespecting people all around. No one listens to you and everyone bosses you around even the guards on campus.
My experience was really bad. No placement opportunities were provided. They demand 90 percent and a strict 9 to 5 classes. The classes are of no use. The teachers lack experience. They abuse their power inside campus. Even the security guards are always ready to mentally harass you at every opportunity they get. They treat you like their property. Kill your creative side and try to make a perfect corporate labourer for a low paying service based, an individual who works 9 to 5 as a machine and has no skill to grow. You will surely have no cherishable moment inside this college.
Worst placement possible. They lie about the placement on campus. No big companies come on campus. The ones that come give internships rather than jobs and are really low paying. For any student having a really high package that is only through off campus opportunity.
No value for money. They will find ways to extract money through fines like attendance penalty for attendance below 90 percent.
No campus life. Only 2 washroom breaks for 10 minutes. 1 lunch break for 50 min rest whole day you need to stay in class. If you go out you will get scolded.
Don't listen to anyone and don't take admission over here. You will thank me later.
PSIT has infrastructure that is descent for everyday college life, but it might not feel very impressive to students expecting top-level facilities. The campus is fairly big and organized, which is helpful, but some buildings and classrooms look a bit old and could use renovation. Most classrooms have basic equipment like projectors and proper seating, though sometimes maintenance does not seem consistent. The computer labs are usable for practical work, but a few systems feel outdated, and availability can be limited when many students need them at the same time. The library is quiet and consist of all the books that student need but the students are not provided the access to the books , they keep it in the shelf which is locked, and they also usually does not allow the students to use the library when needed, the staff in the library are also very disrespectful to the students. They say that it is a Wi-Fi campus but the students are not given the access to the Wi-Fi for the work. Hostel facilities provide essential amenities, but some students feel that room maintenance and food quality could be improved. Overall, PSIT's infrastructure is manageable and supports studies, but it does not stand out as modern or advanced. It works fine for basic needs, though there is definitely scope for upgrades and better upkeep in several areas.
I am doing a B.Tech degree from Computer Science (AI/ML), the college does not teach much accordance to the degree, they only follow exam standard, they do no provide practical knowlege related to AI/ML, the teachers are not good, some of the teachers open the projector and only read what is written in the slides, they do not explain anything and if you ask them related to the topic they will insult you and say you are questioning there methods of teaching. The teachers themselves does not have the knowledge regarding the subject they are teaching. The college does not provide time for self studying, its a 9 to 5 college and 2 extra hours are taken in travel, they do not provide any breaks, they do not provide students the opportunity to explore their interest, because of the college timing students barely get the time to get hands on experience on the practical knowledge. They would be taking a lot of classes where the teaching won't be teaching and if the student want to study on their own , they won't allow it. They also give very low internal numbers because they will admit a lot number of students like the highest has been 3000 so far , they would give low internals so that the student is not eligible to sit in their placement drives because they only provide the internship max up to 400 - 500 people out of 3000 .
Placements of this college is very bad, in my batch there are 1600 students and so far only 300 of them have been placed. Even these students do not have a guarantee to a job , the college pays the companies to hire students to only give internship and then kick them out after that, because this college has been blacklisted from a lot of companies and no one wants to hire from this college. Even the students who get the job off campus these people take the credit. The average salary that is being offered is 3 to 4 lakhs and the college is not supportive.
Do not get admission in this college, it will be a waste of money, time.
My college has excellent infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, modern facilities, and a clean campus. The environment is very pleasant, with a lot of greenery that creates a peaceful and positive atmosphere for learning. The discipline maintained in the college is commendable, which helps students stay focused on their academic and personal growth.
The quality of teaching in my college is very good. The professors use real-life examples, presentations, and structured modules to make learning practical and easy to understand. They focus on concept clarity rather than just theoretical knowledge. The college also provides summer training in various software and real-time data exposure, which helps students gain practical experience and industry knowledge.
The quality of placements in my college is good. The average placement package is around 6 LPA, and the highest package goes up to 10 LPA. Students are placed based on their skills, performance, and hard work. The placement process is transparent and performance-based, providing equal opportunities to all deserving candidates.
The college maintains good discipline, ensuring a focused, respectful, and professional learning environment for all students
Wi-Fi-enabled campus featuring modern, air-conditioned infrastructure designed for technical education, facilities include smart classrooms, advanced computer labs, a 1,400-seat Dolby-equipped auditorium, a extensive library, and separate on-campus hostels.
I am studying Btech in CSE , worst quality of teaching and academics Curriculum is not upto the mark they just used to teach whatever they want worst curriculum they follow which does not align with the industry.
Very worst placement ever since 2023 they are declining in the placement every year, I am in final year of my btech 2026 batch and only two mass recruiter came, rest nothing. Total students graduating in 2026 are approx 2000 and till now only 400 students are placed. Worst placement ever
Never ever send your child to this college, if you want to worst the career of your student then only send them to this college .
The college infrastructure is really nice and clean with one disadvantage of it being located outside of the city area The mess food is hygienic and is average taste wise with a menu for a month at once The living spaces are nice and clean with all updated facilities.
The faculty here is very sincere, supportive and knowledgeble and would help you clear your doubts Since the college is now autonomous, most of its syllabus has been updated. The faculty supports and builds your reasoning from scratch.
Most of the higher package is mostly off campus but other placements which average around 10lpa are on campus. Around 80% of students are placed per year in the cs core branch The placements largely depend on the quality of the students of the respective batch
The cost per year is 3lakh rupees inclusive of hostel and mess facilities The facilities such as library is good for studying
The campus life is normally mediocre with nothing much to do as the hostel gates close at 9:30 for boys and 7:30 for girls. There are few sports facilities such as the football ground and basketball court along with an outdoor gym to exercise and a library for refence materials The location is about 16km away from kanpur's biggest station- the kanpur central
The infrastructure of this college is good . They provide lots of facilities to the student such as Labs for different departments. In this collge there is also a research lab which help the student to do various project . This collge provide the hostel facility to the students . There is also a library in which student can sit an learn . The library is very best for the hostellers because for the hostellers they provide extra time and the hostellers can learn in a peace . There is also some ports for charging.
The professors of the college are good . They provide lots of information to the students related to the studies . They also motivate the students . Some teachers also advise and guide the Student whatever they want to do in their career . The assignment are conducted by the collge it may be 3 or 4 . The class test are also conducted and last the pre university.
The collge provide the campus placement to the students . According to me the placement is average . The collge provide mock interview tto the students . Soft skills classes are held for the students to better in their career .
The infrastructure is good, almost all the classrooms have facilities of ACs and projectors, except for some labs. There are more than enough books in the library, from simple semester books to competition books for CAT, GATE, and PYQs. The hostel is also good, except it is very strict; you need to call your parents for permission when you are going outside.
Course curriculum is quiet releveant as compared to other private colleges as there are PSA (Problem Solving Aspect), VT (Verbal Training) from the first year, which makes student industry ready. Exams are moderate level but a little tougher than AKTU exams.
The placement of he student that are shown in the holding is not actual, but from the students that are allowed to appear for the placement, maximum chances are that they will get placed. The minimum package is not known to everyone, but it should be not less than 3-4 LPA.
Value for money is overall ok, ok because they take a lot of money. But they don't provide that much. They didn't allow the club to organize any type of fest, or they don't allow making noise on the college campus. But they teach and make us industry-ready.
Campus life is not bad. Because we have to move freely from any place, but at a particular time. For girls, they can move outside by 7 pm, and for boys, it is approximately 9:30 pm. After that, no one will be allowed to go outside the hostel.
The PIT College offer a well-rounded infrastructure that supports both academic and overall student development classrooms are spacious well ventilated and equipped with basic Smart teaching facilities
The call maintain a strong academic environment with a structured curriculum and experienced faculty members. Professor a knowledgeable approachable and supportive, ensuring the concepts are explained, clearly regular lectures, internal assessment and practical sessions. Help students, academically, disciplined and engaged
The college placement support can be considered above average with consistent efforts made by the placement cell to provide career opportunities to students. Several reputable companies visit the campus, each year, offering or roles across different domains. Overall, the placement process reflect steady growth and provide a reliable platform for students to begin their professional journey.
considering the facilities and academic exposure provided the college of a considerable value for money, the fee structure is reasonable when compare to similar institutions, making quality education accessible to wide range of students while there is a scope for improvement in certain areas. The overall return on investment in terms of learning, experience and careers about makes the College of worthwhile option.
campus life College can be quite stressful due to the academic pressure, deadlines and discipline schedule of PSIT. However, the presence of supportive and friendly make a significant difference, friendship group activities and informal moments on campus, add positivity to the daily life on campus
