PSIT Kanpur Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

PSIT has well-developed infrastructure with modern classrooms, laboratories, libraries, computer facilities, hostels, sports areas, cafeterias, and other student amenities. The campus is designed to support both academic learning and extracurricular activities.

PSIT follows a structured academic system with regular classes, examinations, practical sessions, projects, and skill-development activities. Students are encouraged to maintain discipline and participate actively in academic learning.

PSIT provides placement assistance through recruitment drives, company visits, training programs, aptitude preparation, and technical and communication-skill development. Students get opportunities to participate in recruitment processes conducted by various organizations.

PSIT can offer good value for money through its infrastructure, academic environment, placement opportunities, training, and extracurricular exposure. However, the value depends on the chosen branch, fees, placement outcomes, and how actively a student uses the opportunities provided.

Campus life at PSIT is a mix of academics, discipline, cultural activities, technical events, sports, clubs, and student competitions. Students get opportunities to interact, participate in events, develop skills, and build friendships alongside their regular studies.

PSIT can be considered by students seeking a structured professional education environment. However, admission decisions should be based on individual career goals, preferred branch, financial considerations, placement data, and personal expectations rather than reputation alone.

PSIT has a well-maintained and attractive campus with good infrastructure. The classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with smart teaching facilities. Laboratories have the required equipment and the library provides useful academic resources. The campus is clean and has facilities for sports and other activities. Overall, the infrastructure provides a comfortable environment for students.

I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. The academic environment is structured and disciplined. Faculty members are generally supportive and explain concepts clearly. Regular assignments, practical sessions, tests and other academic activities help students stay consistent with their studies. The college also focuses on technical and professional skills, which can be helpful for placements.

PSIT provides placement training and opportunities through various campus drives. Students receive support for aptitude, technical preparation, communication skills, group discussions and interviews. A number of companies visit the campus for recruitment. However, students need to work consistently on their technical skills and maintain good academic performance to make the most of the placement opportunities.

The fees are on the higher side, but the college provides good infrastructure, academic facilities and placement-related training. Overall, I feel it offers reasonable value for money, especially for students who actively use the facilities and opportunities provided by the college.

The campus is clean, green and well maintained. There are different activities, events, clubs and opportunities for students to participate beyond academics. The college environment is disciplined and has several rules, which can sometimes feel strict, but it also helps maintain an organized academic atmosphere. Overall, campus life is good with a balance of academics and extracurricular activities.

The laboratories have the required systems and equipment for practical learning, and the library provides a good study environment. The campus also has sports facilities and other student activity spaces. Overall, the infrastructure is one of the strongest aspects of the college. There are some areas where facilities and student access can be improved further, but overall the campus provides a comfortable environment for students.

I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with Artificial Intelligence. The academic environment is structured and the college gives importance to regular classes, assignments, practicals and examinations. Faculty members are generally supportive and students can approach them for academic doubts. Since PSIT has become autonomous, the curriculum and academic structure are also evolving. However, for technology-related fields like CSE and AI, students should not depend only on classroom teaching and should regularly learn through projects, coding practice and external resources. Overall, academics provide a good foundation, especially for students who are consistent with their studies.

As a current student of the 2029 batch, I have not personally reached the placement stage yet, so I would not like to make unrealistic claims about placement statistics or packages. From what I have observed, the college provides placement training and opportunities for students to prepare for recruitment. The actual outcome will depend significantly on a student's technical skills, communication ability, coding practice, projects and consistency. I believe students should start preparing for internships and placements from the early years instead of depending completely on campus placements. The college has the opportunity to improve further by bringing more diverse product-based companies and internship opportunities.

Considering the infrastructure, academic facilities, campus environment and opportunities available, I would rate the college positively in terms of value for money. However, students need to actively use the available resources and develop skills on their own to get the maximum benefit from the course.

Campus life at PSIT is disciplined and structured. There are various clubs, technical activities, competitions, workshops, sports and other events through which students can participate beyond academics. The college has several opportunities for students who are interested in technology, design, management and extracurricular activities. At the same time, the rules and attendance requirements can sometimes feel strict, so students looking for a very flexible college environment may need some adjustment. Overall, campus life is good for students who are comfortable with a disciplined environment

Overall, my experience at PSIT has been positive so far. The college has strong infrastructure, a structured academic environment and several opportunities for students to participate in technical and extracurricular activities. The environment is disciplined, which can be both a positive and a negative depending on the student. I am currently in my second year, so I have not experienced the placement procedure myself. However, the college provides several opportunities through placement training, workshops, expert talks and industry-related activities. The placement record is also encouraging. Still, getting a good job mainly depends on a student's technical knowledge, academic record and interview preparation.

The course fees are relatively expensive, but the facilities and opportunities provided by the college make it fairly worthwhile. Good infrastructure, practical facilities, learning resources and career support add value to the overall college experience.

I am pursuing B.tech in computer science and engineering to build strong technical and problem-solving skills. The faculty members are knowledgeable and emphasize regular lecture delivery along with continuous internal assessments. While the university curriculum establishes core fundamentals well, the institute supplements it with technical training modules and mini projects to bridge industry gaps. Practical lab sessions are structured, though greater exposure to open-source contributions and advanced industry stacks would enhance overall job readiness.

The college maintains an active corporate relations and placement cell that brings in a steady number of recruiters, primarily IT service companies and mid-sized tech firms. A good percentage of eligible students secure offers, with average packages generally ranging around 4 to 6 lpa, while top performers land higher packages through specific product or speciality drives. The institute organizes focused aptitude and interview preparation modules, making the overall placement process organized, though securing higher tier product roles requires substantial self-driven perparation.

The annual tuition fees for B.tech CSE stands around 1.3 to 1.5 lakhs per year, which is competitive compared to other private institutions in the region. Considering the disciplined academic environment, well-maintained labs, air-conditioned lecture halls, and dedicated pre-placement technical training, the return on investment is reasonable. Students who actively leverage the campus resources and placement opportunities will find the overall expenditure justified.

Campus life is disciplined, safe and academically focused. The grounds are lush, clean, and well-secured 24/7, with dependable emergency services and medical facilities on site. Annual fests , cultural events, and freshers' celebration bring vibrant energy to the student community. On the downside, the routine can feel restrictive due to strict attendance policies and limited evening freedom, particularly concerning commercial shop timings and outside delivery access for hostellers.

I have studied B.Tech from Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology. The quality of teaching is commendable. It has proper rules and regulations because of which nobody can skip the classes as it review each and every student.

Placement is good, at my time I have seen many big companies coming for the campus placement and especially mass hireing . Out of 100 percent they was only 1 or 2% students that have not been placed that is also because either they don't want or because of their low score in full graduation cycle.

It is good and I will recommend everyone to study from this college (PSIT) .

Due to some strictness provided by the college , students living in hostel may have not experienced it good as there are many restrictions for hosteler. For day scholar also due to attendance mandatory and time boundaries was not good
