RIMS Admission 2024: Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Management and Science (RIMS), Kakinada offers admission to its Postgraduate (PG) courses in the management domain. RIMS admission is offered on the basis of candidates' performance in the qualifying exam and in the AP ICET entrance test. Following that, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the counselling process. RIMS final admission will be done after the completion of the counselling process and document verification.

RIMS MBA and MCA Admission 2024

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is conducting admission of candidates into MBA and MCA courses to those who satisfy the required eligibility criteria or its equivalent.

• The APSCHE will issue a notification in the leading newspaper which indicates the date-wise ranks of the candidates who have to do the counselling registration, certificate verification and schedule of exercising options. Also, APSCHE will notify the list of help-line centres. Those who fail to report for registration and certification will not be considered for allotment of seats at any of the colleges

• Certificate verification: Candidates should produce the following certificates.

  • Hall ticket

  • Rank card

  • SSC/ Inter / Degree or Equivalent marks memo

  • Study/Bonafide Certificate from IX to Degree

  • Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)

  • Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 01.01.2017 should also be submitted (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption).

  • PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)

  • Transfer Certificate

• Exercising Options: After document verification at help-line centres, a blank form will be given to students which consists list of colleges with the courses offered by them, course code will be given to all the candidates. On the basis of course and college code, candidates may list out college in order of preference, the course which they intend to give option for.

• Modification of Options and Freezing: Candidates can modify their chosen options within the stipulated time. After the allotted time for option entry, if a candidate is not satisfied with the options exercised, one can modify the options on the dates notified by the authorities.

• Final Allotments of Seats: Based on the options exercised, seat allotment will be done as per merit rank and category (SC/ST/BC/PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and games quota etc.) of the candidate. The final allotment will be placed on the web on a specified date.

Payment of Fees & Reporting at College- Candidates with the allotment order, have to remit the fee to one of the designated banks and obtain the receipt.
