Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Honours in Statistics is a three-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Ramjas College, Delhi and affiliated to University of Delhi, Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed in 10+2 with the relevant subject. And 50% marks in Statistics and an aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

Admission Details

The admissions to colleges of the University of Delhi are based on merit/entrance criteria depending on the course selected by an aspiring student.
Applicants seeking admission to UG merit-based programmes/courses & UG entrance test based must register on a centralized admission Web Portal.
Online Registration: The applicants seeking admission to UG merit-based programme/course must register through online registration,
Cut-offs: The applicants must check the centralized Admission Web Portal and the college website for detailed cut-offs for different programmes/courses.
Selection of Programmes: The applicants who meet the requisite cut-off should log in to the UG admission portal using their registration account and select college/programme where the applicant wishes to take admission and meets the desired cutoff criterion.
Verification of documents: The applicant shall take the print out of the admission/registration form and together with the list of documents/certificates, proceed to the respective college for verification of mark-sheet/certificates, calculation of cut-off percentage depending on the programme/course.
Approval of admission: The College will retain the original certificates of an approved applicant in order to avoid multiple admissions. The certificates will remain with the colleges during the admission process. After this, the college will approve the admission on the UG admission portal. However, the colleges shall promptly return the documents in case the student withdraws/cancels the admission or student wishes to appear in counselling of any other university/ institute.
Online payment of admission fee: The applicant will then be required to log-in to the UG admission portal to make the online admission fee payment through the available online payment options. The approved applicant is permitted to make online admission fee payment till 12 noon of the next day of the last day of admission.

College Infrastructure

Ramjas College , located in Delhi University’s North Campus, is one of the oldest and most well-known colleges in Delhi. The campus has a beautiful mix of old red-brick buildings and green open spaces that give it a calm and welcoming feel. The classrooms are large, clean, and well-ventilated classroom learning more relaxing. The library is peaceful and full of books, journals, and study materials that help students in their academics. The science and computer labs are modern and well-equipped, allowing students to learn through practical work. The college also gives great importance to sports and cultural activities. There is a big playground, basketball court, and indoor game areas where students can enjoy different sports. The auditorium and seminar halls are always active with events, debates, and fests that make college life exciting. The canteen is a favorite spot for students to eat, relax, and spend time with friends. Overall, Ramjas College provides a perfect environment for learning, creativity, and personal growth. It is not just a place to attend classes, but a space where students discover their talents, make friends, and build memories that stay with them forever.

College Infrastructure

RAMJAS College offers on the best infrastructure in North campus the campus is beautifully spread with the lawns the classes are very large and are equipment with smart board for experimental learning

The college overall is good, but be safe from the fights

College Infrastructure

1) The college infrastructure is good but has a room for a lot of improvement. I won't say that it lacks facilities but they need to be renovated or upkept. It has a great sports complex, multiple badminton and basketball courts(both outside though), cricket and football field, indoor shooting range, gym, TT table, chess and outdoor volleyball courts. 2) The IT infrastructure is old to some extent but it's manageable. Some depts like chemistry have new labs opening up so that's great, and the labs are being renovated gradually. 3) The hostel is no longer there and the campus is generally clean but there's a bit of scope for improvement in sanitation.
