Ramjas college conducted its annual cultural festival, Mosaic 25 on October 30, 2025.
College infrastructure is decent. There is all necessary facilities given every floor have washrooms for both girls and boys. There is library with two floors and can find all books need for our academics
Studying maths hons and faculty are good. There is always academic atmosphere well structured teaching plan . Faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable and always back students for academics and give solution for problems .
Placements for my course is not much . Since i am pursuing B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics in my course there is no direct placements but for other courses like BCom there is good placements ratio. And students from my college got good placements.
Course cost is not very much
Decent campus life
There is many things to explore in my college
RAMJAS College offers on the best infrastructure in North campus the campus is beautifully spread with the lawns the classes are very large and are equipment with smart board for experimental learning
academics of Ramjas is one of the strongest pillar difficulty here is blend of knowledge experience mentorship the teaching methodology is interactive combining lectures with presentations. wide range of courses are there
RAMJAS College has an active and well functioning placement cell that work tirelessly for guidance of students it’s Alumni network is also very strong it’s perfect breeze for student between Academy and industry
it is one of the cheapest college in Delhi university with its affordable fee structure, top notch facilities infrastructure wide range of opportunities which will cost a lot in other private university it is one of the cheapest
the campus life at RAMJAS College is vibrant, energetic and unforgettable. it is a place where you get perfect mix of academics, culture, friendship etc The annual fest of RAMJAS College attracts huge crowd.
The campus is pretty well-maintained, with decent classrooms and labs. Ramjas College has a nice library, which is a plus for any student. Sports facilities are available, although they could be better equipped. Overall, the infrastructure is satisfactory for a good learning environment.
Classes were pretty challenging, but the professors made it manageable. The workload was definitely heavy, so time management was key. I learned a lot and feel well-prepared for the future. Overall, the academic experience was rewarding and enjoyable. I'd recommend it to anyone seeking a quality education.
The placement season was quite the rollercoaster, honestly. There were moments of pure excitement when offers started rolling in. Some of the interviews felt pretty intense, with tough questions and high expectations. However, the overall experience was a valuable lesson in resilience. Ultimately, it was a transformative journey that helped develop essential skills for the future.
Considering the investment, higher education should provide a solid return in terms of skills and knowledge. It's important that the curriculum aligns with the current job market and industry standards. Furthermore, the overall cost, including tuition and living expenses, should be carefully considered. Students deserve access to resources and support systems that facilitate their success. Ultimately, it's a balance of quality education and affordability.
Participating in various activities on campus can create a vibrant and engaging environment. It allows students to connect with peers, fostering friendships and a sense of community. These experiences often provide valuable opportunities for personal growth and skill development. Balancing academic responsibilities with campus involvement contributes to a well-rounded college experience. Ultimately, embracing campus life can lead to lasting memories and a fulfilling time in higher education.
The infrastructure of the college is nice especially considering that it is a government college which are often badmouthed for their infrastructure. Big clean lawns are there, sports scene is overall okay and rest cleanliness is maintained properly
The academics of the college is pretty nice. The teachers are helpful and are willing to put in more effort for a particular student if one is to ask for help. Theres some politics involved in internal marks but is manageable
B.sc Mathematics Honours is not one of the courses known for its spectacular placements so I consider the placement opportunites below average. But other courses like Bcom H and Eco H have far better placements which are great.
Fees is roughly 17-18k per annum for my course including examination form fees etc. This is very affordable compared to 99% private universities. So if one is to calculate the CTC or ROI of the course it will come out to be good
The whole Delhi university north campus especially the top 7-8 colleges have a great campus life. The whole environment is so lively with food stalls hangout places everywhere and all colleges next to each other
No
As a fresher I find the college infrastructure just fine, it’s well maintained and ventilated with proper washrooms and watercooler din every floor along with lifts. But if ACs could be installed in classrooms that would be highly appreciated along with good wifi facility in the campus as there are no signals in and around the campus. Also the gardens and parks need to be maintained by proper gardener’s to enhance their beauty….my experience is good but can be improved if college foes upstated changes.
Faculty is nice and well versed in there subjects. They genuinely help students with there doubts. Only thing that bothers me that quite a lot of times the classes get cancel . Otherwise faculty is very nice.
College placements for ramjas are quite decent as of what I have heard. They say that for BCom the placement is overall good with an average package of rupees 5-6 lakh per annum. Any student with good academics is welcomed to sit for the placements.
1) The college infrastructure is good but has a room for a lot of improvement. I won't say that it lacks facilities but they need to be renovated or upkept. It has a great sports complex, multiple badminton and basketball courts(both outside though), cricket and football field, indoor shooting range, gym, TT table, chess and outdoor volleyball courts. 2) The IT infrastructure is old to some extent but it's manageable. Some depts like chemistry have new labs opening up so that's great, and the labs are being renovated gradually. 3) The hostel is no longer there and the campus is generally clean but there's a bit of scope for improvement in sanitation.
1) I'm currently studying Statistics hons because of being interested in data. The quality of teaching is okayish as few professors depend on rote book material and few teach material not at all related to the course, but yes professors are really knowledgeable and if you make a good bond with them, they freely share everything they know and act as true mentors. 2) I mean to some extent yes, as in the theory portion is up to date and makes us job ready, but it doesn't include important statistics related softwares in the core papers curriculum so that's an issue, but these softwares which are required in real World are often offered as SEC and VAC.
Although most people prefer to skip the placement process altogether and go for masters, most people who sit for placements get a decent package with the mean package being around 6-7L and highest in recent times being 23.5lpa.
My course costs approx 17k per year(18,17,16k respectively from 1st to 3rd year). Yes honestly I think the ROI be it in terms of exposure, experience, value of degree or the avg package is worth it
The campus is okayish but disruptions exist due to fights and electric. Apart from that we have a lot of socities (each and every genre) and multiple sports facilities. Although it is close enough to a police station so relatively safe but yes sometimes fights do break out between certain groups.
It does have the necessary infrastructure but not the great. The college canteen has been closed for about 6 months now. The classrooms do need renovation. THERE ARE NO ACs IN THE CLASSROOMS. This is the biggest negetive of the college
The teachers are polite as well as understanding. The curriculum is upto date. The teachers are enthusiastic about studies. After nep, various subjects have been added, which are helpful in real life.
Du placements are not really great. It only offers an average placements for about 4-5 lacs per annum. Which is really less but counting on the fees of the college, it is fine. Still the placements should get increased as it is not enough.
Totally value for money as the fees is really less.
A very good infrastructure compared to other nearby college but in summers lack of Air Conditioner is a serious problem otherwise else is good. The classes and corridor are mostly clean and well maintained.
Faculty members are highly qualified and bring extensive academic and industry experience to their classrooms. Teaching methods often blend lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on projects, making learning engaging and effective . Support systems such as mentoring, counseling, and academic workshops are in place to guide students throughout their studies. Faculty and staff are approachable, providing assistance with both academic and non-academic concerns
Placements are usually decent And sometimes it's very good The percentage of overall placement is not a 100%, but around 40 to 60%. The Average package is around some 5 to 6 legs per Anum. And yes the call is very supportive to it.
Yes, it is really a good value for money college as I pay around 16000 per year for my course of mathematics hons.
North Campus carries a prestigious reputation; its colleges are often ranked among the best in the country, attracting a diverse crowd from all over India. highlight the unmatched “fest” culture, late-night outings, and an overall lively environment reminiscent of movie-like college life. Socializing spaces, such as Kamla Nagar market, Hudson Lane cafes, and green parks, make for memorable hangouts and lifelong friendships
College infrastructure is upto the mark if seen with respect to the low affordable fees. Library, computer lab and sports facilities are present. Classrooms are well ventilated and spacious but lack ACs
The professors are highly qualified and academics are good but common du thing is regular cancellation of classes, over dependence on internals for class test and not continuous assessment is common. Academics are good overall but not very strict. Also, the NEP has negatively impacted academics with the introduction of sec, vac,AEC etc
placement is average with moderate no of companies coming. The average realistic package is 6 to 10 lpa for people with good CVs. Total no of students placed is less compared to no of students as most students don't sit in placements as they opt for higher studies.
The college is absolutely value for money with fees being as low as 16-18k per year and the facilities offered in exchange of the same are good enough. College offers a good balance of academics, societies, sports and other opportunities.
Campus life here is absolutely excellent due to the beautiful campus. Students and crowd is very diverse ranging to all courses and backgrounds. Attendance is not a issue so campus life is good overall
Ramjas College located in Delhi university North Campus .the campus is lush green and a great vibe like most of the north campus college of delhi. Most classes are well ventilited few of them have a projector .ACs are only in labs, library ,conference hall etc .for this academic year hostel facilities are not available as they are under renovations .library having almost every books , sport complex and gym is also available.Canteen is also there ,provides food and snacks a reasonable cost.
So I am currently pursuing Bsc Mathematics hons from ramjas college as mathematics is my interest. The quality of teaching is good .some professors are very nice and supportive. The curriculum is according to the NEP. People having great edge in mathematics and having some relevent skill can easily get a good job.
The quality of placement in ramjas is good .Dont know the exact placement percentage ,but any student willing to get job will get jobs .The highest salary of mathematics hons is about 24 lpa.The average salary is somewhere about 5 to 6 lpa.The college have placement cell that help students in placements
it usually cost 14 to 18 k per year depending upon the courses.
Ramjas college is one of the most vibrant and the oldest college of DU .It is also the hub of politics in north campus. The alumni network of this college is also very good.Their are several socities almost covering every possible domain and interests. The diversity of the student is also very good student coming from the various part of india share their culture and heritage .their are also many good restaurants outside the campus, you can easily find any type of foods there.
