Value for money my each and every paisa over here is like spent well and the money which i have is a lot and the fees over here is just a few and the things whoch they provide are a lot except the fees in il
Very good canpus life campus here canpus theee 14 acre campus and what not very bootiful campus and inwoild recomment to once a visit must this campus and the reason to visit the campus is the beauty here
College infrastructure is quite pretty good . Divided into two parts mainly the old and new building, the old one hold the history of the college the from the day it began ! The red coloured buildings gives a perfect vibe of the Delhi University!!.. It has all the types of laboratories needed for the students as well as a decent library.
Currently pursuing BSC Hons Mathematics and it's my 2nd year. Mathematics was the subject I liked the most and I am doing this course so that I could be eligible for my masters and so on in the same field. To be very honest the professors are not up to the mark!!
I'm a second year student of this college and I don't have the info about the placement. I have the same data as given on the internet. Also I am not looking for any kind of placement therefore I don't search for any kind of information..
Pet annum the course cost approx 17k . According to me the course cost is upto the mark and it's worth it . As I feel Mathematics is a subject which everyone look for and gives you a wide scope for the future plans .
My campus life is pretty good..The college campus is always in enthusiastic atmosphere. It's on a perfect location too accessible to everyone . The support staffs are cool but not all . The students must engage in various kinds of activities like dancing, singing, sports etc .
My college has necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment we have black boards chalks dusters benches There are wifi but they are not good and network problems are there Food doesn't seem hygienic also water tanker is not clean it's a big issue
I am studying bsc hons mathematics The quality of teachers is average I don't know if curriculum is well updated and don't know only this course can make me job ready there are proofs in this course and I don't understand how they can make me job ready
Quality of placements is average or poor Right now there is no accurate data of percentage of students and highest salary package but i guess it was 700000 p a I don't have know much about the process of placements
My course cost around 16000-17000 per year which is good if we compare it to other private colleges and courses
The College infrastructure is quite good as compared to the other north campus colleges. The basic amenities like drinking water facility, library, sports facilities are good but not best . The College has inaugurated it's new building In 2016.
The overall academic environment here in Ramjas especially in my department is quite rigorous. The faculty pays a lot of attention to individual students and help them develop interest in the subject.
The placement scenario is not too good. Most of the students go for on campus placements and depend on referrals. However the placement cell is quite active and brings in opportunities in the fields such as finance and consultancy.
With the annual fees of around 16,000 Rs. The kind of opportunities and network which a student created not only inside the college but also all accross the north campus, the college is value for money
The overall campus life is awesome and the way students and faculty work in synchronisation with a lot of synergy is quite commendable. On campus one can feel the sense of comradarie and belongingness.
Ramjas college's infrastructure is far better as compared to other colleges in north campus area like - SRCC , Daulat ram or Kirorimal college . The college has 5 lawns , a sports complex a football ground .
The college has some relly nice professor's but again not everyone is great, maximum times the internalls weightage is so much and it only depends on the professors how much they give so sometimes the overall performance of the CGPA decreases.
Placements are ok companies come to campus but mainly focuses to commerce background like - bcom hon , bcom or eco honours, stats honours etc and the students of arts and science background have very less to no chance of getting placed .
The annual fee of bcom hon is 17000 so thats a preety much good value to the money .
Campus life of du is very happening the fest season, du circut, competitions going on all the times , many things to do . One good thing is in du there are more then 90 colleges and we can go to any college compete and participate thats amazing.
No
Ramjas is a good college withstrong quality of teaching. There are professors who are deeply knowledgeable in their respective fields. Most teachers are interactive enough with the students and cover the syllabus properly. Yes sometimes there are delays. Overall it is a rewarding place to study
Studying economics in general is a little heavy and self study basis so u need to study more from your side. Teachers don’t limit themselves to the books but more of real life knowledge so its a good environment afterall its du.
There is a dedicated cell at every college of placements . There one can find opportunities if you are having edge over others and skills required. Finance and IT companies visit campus every year for recruitment process.
The fee structure is affordable at ramjas. The opportunities provided make it a cost effective college.
It is vibrant and diverse from all aspects. Ramjas has a lively atmosphere. Afterall everybody has a different perspective regarding this life.
The infrastructure of Ramjas College reflects its heritage as one of the oldest colleges of Delhi University. The campus is spread out and has a beautiful old-world charm with red-brick buildings and a large green ground that adds to its appeal. However, when it comes to modern facilities, there are several areas where the college still needs improvement. The benches and furniture in most classrooms are quite old and uncomfortable, making long lectures tiring for students. Another drawback is the lack of adequate computer facilities, which often creates difficulties for students who need access to updated systems for projects or research. Many classrooms are not air-conditioned, which makes the summer months particularly difficult, given the heat in Delhi. While there are projectors in some rooms, technology integration across the campus is still limited. On the positive side, the library is spacious with a good collection of books, the laboratories are decently equipped, and the college has a strong sports infrastructure with large grounds and courts for various games. The canteen and medical facilities also add convenience for students. Overall, the infrastructure is decent but requires modernization to match the standards of today’s academic environment.
Academics at Ramjas College are fairly balanced, though there is room for improvement. The teachers are experienced and knowledgeable in their respective subjects, but many students feel that their teaching style is just okayish and not always very engaging. Some professors are excellent and go the extra mile to clarify doubts, while others tend to stick to traditional lecture methods, which can sometimes make classes monotonous. Despite this, the study material provided is reliable and useful. The college ensures that students have access to a wide range of resources, including prescribed books, handouts, and notes that cover the syllabus thoroughly. The library is also well stocked, which helps students supplement classroom teaching with independent study. Internal assessments and report submissions are taken seriously, encouraging students to stay consistent with their work. Overall, the academic environment provides enough structure to help sincere students perform well, but those expecting a very interactive or modern teaching approach may find it somewhat lacking. Nevertheless, with good self-study and the resources available, students are able to achieve solid academic outcomes, making Ramjas a dependable choice for academics.
Placements at Ramjas College are decent, though they cannot be considered exceptional across all fields. The opportunities are mainly concentrated in finance and consulting roles, with companies in these sectors being the primary recruiters during placement drives. Students from Economics, Commerce, and related streams tend to benefit the most, as they have a better chance of securing internships and final placements with reputed firms in these industries. However, for students from other streams such as humanities and sciences, the placement options are quite limited, and many have to rely on off-campus opportunities or pursue higher studies. The average packages offered are moderate, while a few top-performing students manage to secure attractive offers in consulting firms. The Placement Cell of the college is active and makes genuine efforts to bring in good recruiters, but the scope remains narrow compared to some other colleges of Delhi University. Internships are more easily available than final placements, and these also lean heavily toward finance and consulting. Overall, placements at Ramjas are okayish they provide a decent stepping stone for students in certain fields, but are not highly diverse or extensive across all disciplines.
When it comes to value for money, Ramjas College is definitely a good choice. With an annual fee of around ₹15,000, the cost is quite affordable compared to private institutions and even some other universities. For this amount, students get access to a wide range of facilities including a spacious library, decent laboratories, medical support, and a strong sports infrastructure with large grounds and courts. The exposure that Ramjas provides through its societies, debates, fests, and cultural events also adds immense value to the overall student experience. While the teaching faculty may sometimes feel average in terms of classroom delivery, they are highly qualified and approachable for academic guidance. The college also provides decent placement opportunities, especially in finance and consulting, which further enhances the return on investment for students in these fields. For those passionate about extracurriculars, Ramjas offers a vibrant environment with active societies and plenty of opportunities to showcase talent. Considering the low fees and the facilities, exposure, and opportunities available, Ramjas truly stands out as a value-for-money institution. It might not have the polished infrastructure of some private colleges, but for the cost it charges, the benefits students receive are quite significant.
Campus life at Ramjas College is vibrant and full of opportunities, making it one of the more lively colleges in Delhi University. The student community is diverse, with people coming from different backgrounds and regions, which creates a healthy mix of perspectives and cultures. Most of the students are friendly, approachable, and supportive, which makes it easy to build friendships and engage in group activities. The societies of the college are very active and offer students a chance to explore interests beyond academics, whether it is debating, dramatics, music, dance, or entrepreneurship. Cultural fests and events keep the energy alive throughout the year and provide platforms for students to showcase their talents. That said, like any large public campus, there are a few students who act like goons or indulge in unnecessary politics, which can sometimes be off-putting. However, such instances are not the defining feature of the college and the overall atmosphere remains welcoming and safe. Sports are also an integral part of campus life, with facilities for cricket, football, basketball, and athletics. Overall, the campus experience is very good, with a mix of academics, extracurriculars, and social interactions that help students grow both personally and professionally.
Considering all aspects, Ramjas College offers a balanced experience, especially for students who are self-driven and willing to make the most of the opportunities available. It may not provide luxury or
the college infrastructure is good. as it is situated in north campus so if compare it to other colleges its infrastructure is decent. it has a good auditorium with decent classes there is minimum 4 fans in each class. the college ground is huge and the view of college is also good. the canteen food is decent and i believe it is value for money.
i am currently studying B.Com from ramjas college. the teaching faculty is good and the teachers generally take the classes but i believe it lacks practical learning which is very much necessary for the future job.
ramjas college has decent placement the companies do visit the campus the median package is 6 lakh and around 100-150 students are placed in the year 2024. these students are mostly from B.Com(p), B.Com(hons) and economics hons.
in my opinion ramjas college offers good value for money when compared to other higher education institutions the fee structure is quite affordable in my course my fees was around 16000 i believe this cost is reasonable for the exposure we get
campus life at ramjas college is very vibrant. the college has mix of academics and extracurricular activities which makes student life engaging. various fest and events happens in the college throughout the year.
College contains all the necessary infrastructure and facilities which are required by students. It has a well maintained sports ground and gymnasium. Canten facilities are also good. Apart from this, Wifi and smart boards are also installed in classrooms.
I am studying economics as my major in college. Academics is something Ramjas has been known for years. Quality of teaching is student centric with both English and Hindi as a medium of teaching. Curriculum is being updated and now colleges are offering 4th year for research as per NEP.
Placement Cell in college has the responsibility of bringing a good number of companies like Deloitte, McKinsey, etc. For average and medium packages, refer college website. Apart from this, placements are heavily dependent on your personal skills and abilities and college can only play a supporting role in it.
Ramjas College has a vibe that grows on you. The infrastructure won’t impress you at first it’s old-school and basic but the open lawns, classic DU feel, and chill hangout spots make it feel like home over time.
Academics here are a mix. You’ll find some amazing professors who inspire you, and some who just follow the textbook. But if you’re curious and consistent, Ramjas gives you the space to learn and improve yourself without too much pressure.
Placements aren’t automatic you have to chase them. The placement cell tries hard, and students who stay involved often land good internships and jobs, especially in the commerce stream. It’s less about luck and more about how much you push yourself.
