Ratnapuri Technological Institute College of Polytechnic, Medak is one among the top technical institutions providing diploma courses in different branches of engineering. RITCOP is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and provides a good environment for students pursuing technical education.

Ratnapuri Technological Institute College of Polytechnic, Medak admission is through TS POLYCET. This examination is known as the Telangana State-Polytechnic Common Entrance Test, conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana, for admission into all diploma programmes offered in Ratnapuri Technological Institute College of Polytechnic, Medak. TS POLYCET is conducted generally every year; fixing dates at this stage is a little tough.

For Ratnapuri Technological Institute College of Polytechnic admission, it is necessary that candidates clear 10+2 or equivalent. The admission process to RITCOP consists of the following stages:

• Verification of Documents: The candidates must keep their documents ready for verification.
• Allotment of Seats: Allotment shall be made on the basis of the ranks, preferences, and availability of seats.
• Payment of Fees: Candidates shall pay the requisite amount of fees as per the seat allotted to them in RITCOP, thus confirming their provisional admission.
• Reporting to the Institute: After completing all of the above-mentioned procedures, students must report to RITCOP on the specified date along with all original documents to complete the final admission procedure.

RITCOP is offering seven AICTE-approved full-time diploma programmes. The admissions to all of these programmes are through the TS POLYCET examination, which is the same for all programmes. The distribution of programmes with the respective intakes is as follows:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering: 60 seats
• Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: 60 seats
• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 60 seats
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: 60 seats
• Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: 60 seats
• Diploma in Agricultural Engineering: 30 seats
• Diploma in Agricultural Technology: 30 seats

For all diploma programmes mentioned above, candidates should qualify TS POLYCET. The assignment of seats will be made based on the merit list prepared based on the entrance test scores. Candidates must attend counseling sessions for seat allocation.
