RN Modi Engineering College (RMEC) is regarded as one of the very best engineering colleges in Rajasthan, Kota. The college has a huge number of options for undergraduate and postgraduate courses for different engineering faculties. RMEC also has a proper and laid-down procedure for admissions governed by the Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) and the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan (BTER).
RN Modi Engineering College's admission process cycle is prescheduled along with the academic calendar of its governing bodies, RTU and BTER. For undergraduate courses, majorly Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main merit list-based admission is held. JEE Main generally takes place in January and April, with results being declared soon after the examination. REAP counselling for seats is normally held during June-July.
The minimal eligibility requirement for admission to B.Tech programmes shall be that the candidate under consideration should have successfully passed the examination of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the principal subjects. Moreover, for the B.Tech admission eligibility, a valid score in either the REAP or the JEE Main exam is mandatory.

The RN Modi College conducts an associate follow-up programme for admissions as follows:
Admissions to RN Modi Engineering College (RMEC) are conducted through REAP or JEE Main scores for B.Tech programmes and the Centralised Admission Test for M.Tech (CAM) for postgraduate courses. Candidates are selected based on merit, counselling, and document verification as per RTU/BTER guidelines.
B.Tech: RMEC runs B.Tech programmes in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering. Each of these programmes has an intake of 30, except for Civil Engineering, which has an intake of 60. The programmes are offered based on REAP or JEE Main merit.
M.Tech: The college offers an M.Tech programme in Computer Engineering with an intake of 18 students. Admission will be allowed by counselling based on the rank obtained in the Centralised Admission Test M.Tech (CAM).
The cut-off percentage varies every year, depending chiefly on the competition and the availability of seats.
