• The Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course too has an intake of 60 students, which is approved. The Sandur Polytechnic admission procedure involves assessment of the performance of the candidate in the qualifying exam and the entrance examination that checks the candidate's knowledge of Mathematics and Science up to the 10th standard level.
• The seats in Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering programme total 60 and admission is strictly on the combined merit of qualifying examination and entrance test. The 90-minute entrance examination is equally distributed between Mathematics and Science.
