SET MRIIRS Admission Process

SET MRIIRS BTech admission is done through Pearson/ JEE Main/ SAT/ MRNAT/ XII Qualifying Exam. School of Engineering and Technology MRIIRS admission to BTech (Lateral Entry) is based on the Pearson/ JEE Main/ SAT/ MRNAT/ XII Qualifying Exam. For SET MRIIRS BSc (Hons.) admission, candidates are shortlisted based on Pearson/ MRNAT/ marks in the qualifying exam.

SET MRIIRS MSc admission is based on MRNAT/ merit in the qualifying exam or merit based on a valid GATE score. For SET MRIIRS MTech admission, candidates are selected based on merit in the qualifying exam and merit on the basis of valid GATE scores. SET MRIIRS PhD admission is based on merit in the entrance test followed by an interview conducted by MRIIRS Faridabad. BSc Microbiology Hons	10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects and eligibility shall be determined based on the percentage of aggregate marks in English, Physics, Mathematics or Biology and one subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Mathematics or Biology and one subject with the highest score out of the remaining subjects. + Pearson/ Merit preparation/ shortlisting of candidates shall be based on the score in MRNAT/ marks in the qualifying exam.
BTech Computer Science and Engineering	Passed 10+2 exam with at least 55% marks for B.Tech in CSE programmes in aggregate in 5 subjects and eligibility shall be determined based on the percentage of aggregate marks in English, Physics and Mathematics. + Merit preparation/ shortlisting of candidates shall be based on scores in the JEE Main/ SAT/ Pearson/ MRNAT/ XII Qualifying Exam.
BTech CSE with specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning	10+2 exam with at least 60% in aggregate in 5 subjects and eligibility shall be determined based on the percentage of aggregate marks in English, Physics & Mathematics.
BTech CSE with specialisation in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security in association with HCL	Passed 10+2 exam with at least 60% in aggregate in 5 subjects and eligibility shall be determined based on the percentage of aggregate marks in English, Physics & Mathematics. + Merit preparation/ shortlisting of candidates shall be based on score in the JEE Main/ SAT/ Pearson/ MRNAT/ XII Qualifying Examination.
BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering	Passed 10+2 exam with at least 50% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects and eligibility shall be determined based on the percentage of aggregate marks in Chemistry, English, Physics & Mathematics and one subject out of the Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship and one subject with the highest score out of the remaining subjects. + Merit preparation/ shortlisting of candidates shall be on the basis of score in Pearson/ JEE Main/ SAT/ MRNAT/ XII Qualifying Exam.
BTech Civil Engineering	10+2 exam in the relevant stream from a recognised board.
BTech Mechanical Engineering	Passed 10+2 exam with at least 50% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects and eligibility shall be determined based on the percentage of aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics & English and one subject with the highest score out of the remaining subjects. Under this programme, the students can get BTech Mechanical Engineering (Hons.) with specialisation in Electric Vehicles in association with Electric One Mobility Pvt. Ltd.
BTech Biotechnology Lateral Entry	10+2 exam with at least 50% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects and eligibility shall be determined based on the percentage of aggregate marks in English, Physics, Mathematics or Biology and one subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Mathematicsor Biology and one subject with the highest score out of the remaining subjects. + Merit preparation/shortlisting of candidates shall be based on score in Pearson/ JEE Main/ SAT/ MRNAT/ XII Qualifying Examination.

School of Engineering and Technology, MRIIRS Admission Process 2024: BTech/ BTech (Lateral Entry)

Candidates will have to meet the SET MRIIRS eligibility criteria.
Appear for the entrance exam: Pearson/ JEE Main/ SAT/ MRNAT and secure a valid score in it.

For admission to BSc (Hons.) Microbiology, candidates will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria.

Candidates will have to meet the SET MRIIRS PhD eligibility criteria.

Applications shall be screened by a Scrutiny Committee constituted by the concerned Department.
All the eligible candidates shall have to appear in a written test to be organised by MRU as per guidelines of UGC, followed by an interview to be conducted by the Department Research Committee (DRC).
Candidates who qualify for UGC-NET and fellowship/scholarship in UGC- CSIR/ GATE/ CEED and similar national-level tests are exempted from written test.
Candidates who have secured 50% marks in the entrance test are eligible to be called for the interview.

Some teachers are good but due to politics, the teaching isn't industry relevant or strengthening your knowledge base. You have to study in your own pretty much and you're confused majority of the time about the academics part.
