SD College of Information Technology, Tanuku, is a constituent college of West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, which provides specialised IT education. AICTE-approved institution, it aims to provide quality education through its postgraduate studies in technology and management studies. The admission process at SD College of Information Technology is mainly dependent on the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET), a state-level entrance test.
Two full-time postgraduate programmes, namely Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA), for two years are provided by the college. 60 students intake per programme, thus a total of 120 seats for all the programmes. The programmes are designed to serve the needs of the present-day IT and business industries by blending theory with hands-on experience. Eligibility criteria for SD College of Information Technology admission are successful graduation with a bachelor's degree from a well-established university. Any stream candidates are eligible for the MBA course, whereas a mathematics or computer science background at the UG level would be preferred for the MCA course.

The Master of Business Administration course at SD College of Information Technology enrols students on the basis of performance in the APICET entrance test. The strength of this course is 60, and it has been sanctioned by the concerned authorities. APICET qualifiers are shortlisted to be accepted into the MBA course. There may be further shortlisting or selection on the basis of APICET scores, merits in the qualifying degree, and also on the additional requirements made by the college or by the admission committee of the state.
The Master of Computer Applications course also possesses an approved admission intake of 60 students. SD College of Information Technology admission to the Master of Computer Applications course is usually on the basis of the APICET test. Eligible candidates include those who have a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or allied courses. SD College of Information Technology admission is similar to that of the MBA course, with focus given to the APICET scores and related academic experience.
