    Shree Santkrupa Institute of Engineering and Technology, Satara Admission Process

    Shree Santkrupa Institute of Engineering and Technology (SSIET) in Satara is based on the merit of the candidates as per the directives of the Maharashtra state government. The institute offers various courses at different levels ranging from undergraduate engineering courses to diploma courses. SSIET, in its own merit, has been granted approval by AICTE, New Delhi.

    The admission process, in general, would initiate along with the academic year and is generally expected to begin in the month of August-September. For the B.Tech programs, the institute accepts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET), both of which play an important role in the selection process.

    Minimum eligibility for B.Tech programs, candidates require study equivalent to 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates must qualify in JEE Main or MHT CET to be considered for admission. Actual cutoff marks may vary slightly every other year. Diploma programs at SSIET have a separate admission system based on the merit system and according to the Maharashtra government rules and regulations. It could also be a possibility that eligibility and selection criteria for diploma courses differ from those of B.Tech programs.

    Application Process

    Application processes of Shree Santkrupa Institute of Engineering and Technology, Satara are specified under the following headings depending on the program:

    For B.Tech programs:

    For Diploma programs:

    1. To appear for the state-level diploma entrance examination (if applicable).

    2. Register for the Diploma admission process according to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education guidelines.

    3. Fill out the application form for the diploma programs of SSIET.

    4. Attend the counseling session for diploma admission and select SSIET on the basis of inter se merit and availability of a seat.

    5. If selected, report to SSIET for document verification and formalities of admission.

    6. Finally, complete the admission process by paying the requisite fees.

    Degree-Wise Admission Process

    B.Tech

    1. Programs: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

    2. Admission: Based on performance in JEE Main or MHT CET.

    3. Intake: Maximum intake in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

    4. Selection: Either by state or central counseling procedure on the basis of ranks and preferences.

    Diploma

    1. Programs:

      1. Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

      2. Diploma in Civil and Environmental Engineering

      3. Diploma in Mechatronics

    2. Admission: Based on merit as per Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education guidelines.

    3. Intake: 60 per program.

    4. Eligibility: As per state norms, typically completion of 10th standard with required subjects.

    Documents required:

    • 10th and 12th marksheets and passing certificates.

    • Scorecard of JEE Main/MHT CET (for B.Tech).

    • Scorecard of Diploma Entrance Exam (for Diploma, if applicable).

    • Domicile certificate (for Maharashtra candidates).

    • Caste certificate and validity (if applicable).

    • Income certificate, if applicable.

    • Aadhaar card.

    • Recent passport-size photographs.

    • Any other documents as specified by the Institute or state authorities.
