48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed II PUC / 12th Std. / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer.
Lateral Entry
Students with a three-year diploma in a respective specialization can join the second-year BE course. They must apply for the “Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET)” conducted by KEA and follow the seat allotment procedure.
Admission Details
- Students seeking seats through the Government quota must appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
- Candidates must appear for the Entrance Test conducted by COMED-K, with seat selection based on their allotment procedures.
- Students seeking admission through the Management Quota should directly approach the college office and are required to write an entrance test conducted by the college.
