SCIT Khammam Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Sri Chaitanya Institute of Technology and Research, Khammam, is one of those prestigious institutions which impart a varied portfolio of undergraduate as well as postgraduate engineering, technology, and management programs. The institution operates on a merit-based flexible system of admissions, aimed at shortlisting highly competent and meritorious candidates from all over India.

SCIT Khammam admission cycle usually starts in May-June for the July-August session. The institute admits students on the basis of different state-level entrance examinations based on courses. For undergraduate engineering courses, admissions are mainly on the basis of scores of the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). Admission to postgraduate courses takes into consideration exams such as TS PGECET for M.Tech courses and TSICET for MBA courses.

For B.Tech courses, the minimum eligibility requirement is passing 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects. A minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam is generally mandatory. For postgraduate courses, the candidates should have passed their bachelor's degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized university.

Application Process

SCIT Khammam application process differs according to the course:

For B.Tech courses:

1. Qualify in TS EAMCET exam.
2. Enroll in state-level counseling procedure.
3. Select SCIT Khammam and desired courses during counseling.
4. If given a seat, appear at SCIT for document verification and fee payment.

For M.Tech programs:

1. Qualify TS PGECET examination.
2. Apply through the state-level counseling process.
3. Report for counseling and select SCIT if eligible.
4. Do admission formalities at the institute.

For MBA program:

1. Qualify TSICET examination.
2. Attend the state-level counseling process.
3. Select SCIT Khammam during counseling if eligible.
4. Report to the institute for admission process.

For Diploma programs:

1. Qualify TS POLYCET examination.
2. Attend the state-level counseling for polytechnic admissions.
3. Opt for SCIT and desired diploma course during counseling.
4. Complete admission procedure at the institute.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: SCIT provides multiple B.Tech courses such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and Data Science. Admission takes place on the basis of TS EAMCET scores. The institute caters to 480 seats of B.Tech courses, the highest being 180 seats of Computer Science and Engineering.

M.Tech: M.Tech courses in Computer Science and Engineering and Embedded Systems are provided by the institute. Admissions are mainly done on the basis of TS PGECET ranks. Intake for each M.Tech course is 9 seats.

MBA: MBA course at SCIT takes TSICET scores into consideration for admission. The course has a sanctioned intake of 120 seats.

Diploma: SCIT provides diploma courses in different fields of engineering like Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Diploma course admissions are on the basis of TS POLYCET scores. Intake for each diploma course is 30-120 seats.

MCA: The institute provides an MCA course with an approved intake of 60 seats. Admission is probably on the basis of TSICET scores.

BCA and BBA: SCIT also provides BCA and BBA courses with an intake capacity of 60 seats each. The admission into these courses may be merit-based or through a different entrance examination.
