Academics
Teachers are good and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant to our course, but it should be more in-depth for every topic. The semester exams are neither too difficult nor too easy, but they are worth testing our knowledge. The pass percentage is 40, including internal marks.
College Infra
The infrastructure is good, with all facilities like labs and classrooms provided with smart boards, which are really helpful. The quality of food in the mess is good, though sometimes average. But in the canteen prices are high. Sports and games facilities are very good.
Placements
The college placements are average. We see the college management putting 100% effort into bringing companies for hiring. Some companies like Pennant, Infosys, Wells Fargo, etc., come for hiring. The average package is between 3-5 LPA.

Academics
All professors are very helpful. They are always available to solve our doubts. Courses are not for marks, but they teach every aspect, which is useful for facing industries in society. Semester exams are a bit difficult, but in our college, management does not see marks as they see talent. Most of the professors are strict, but it is for our development.
College Infra
Our college has a separate block for library, which is well-maintained, and many books are useful for not only our studies but also preparation for many competitive exams like GATE, etc. For each block, there is a separate Wi-Fi which is very fast. Our classrooms and labs are in a good environment. Though I'm not a hosteller, I can tell about food quality, which is best. Our college supports all kinds of games such as cricket, basketball, etc. Our college also conducts cricket tournaments every year. Medical facilities and gym are also available in our college.
Placements
In our college, 70% of students get placements in each branch. In our course, the highest package offered is 14 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Companies that recruit students from our course are Hexaware Technologies, Infosys, Cognizant, Capegemini, Miracle, etc. Nearly 100-150 students got internship opportunities in companies like Infosys, etc. The top roles offered are product engineers, software developers, QA testers, etc.

Academics
Most of the faculty members at SVEC are well-qualified, holding PhDs or M.Teach degrees from reputed institutes in India and abroad. Students generally find the teachers helpful and approachable, with good knowledge of their subjects. Many adopt modern teaching methods like smart classrooms, case studies, coding sessions, and project-based learning. However, as with any large university, the teaching quality can vary across departments. Some professors are excellent, while a few may rely more on theory than practical exposure.
College Infra
SVEC College provides good facilities and infrastructure that support both academic and personal development. The classrooms are spacious, equipped with projectors, and Wi-Fi is available across the campus to help students access study material easily. The computer labs and department-specific labs are well-maintained and upgraded with the latest software and systems, ensuring students gain practical knowledge along with theory.
Placements
Around 70%-80% of students secure placements, depending on the department. The highest package is up to 44 LPA, offered by Amazon. The lowest package is around 3 LPA-4 LPA in several instances, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Hexaware, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, SAP Labs, Oracle, FactSet, and L&T. About 40% of students got internships. Roles offered are software developer/engineer, system engineer, full-stack developer, tester/QA.
