Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering offers admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. For SVCE Sriperumbudur admission to the UG programme, candidates first have to register for TNEA. After that, candidates have to meet the cutoff in order to appear for TNEA counselling. Ranks of the candidates, preferences filled and availability of seats, etc are considered to allocate seats to the candidates during the counselling. As per the Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering admission process for the M.E/M.Tech programme, candidates have to appear for GATE/TANCET. Next, shortlisted candidates have to appear for TANCA counselling, where seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of scores of TANCET/GATE, choices filled, availability of seats, etc.

B.E/B.Tech is a four-year full-time undergraduate programme offered by Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering. The programme is offered in the following areas: computer science and engineering, artificial intelligence and data science, information technology, civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology, automobile engineering and marine engineering.

Merit list, ranks and cutoff are released based on the marks of PCM in 10+2.
Candidates meeting the TNEA cutoff have to appear for TNEA counselling and give preference to Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering.
Seats are allocated to the candidates on the basis of ranks of the candidates, preferences filled and availability of seats.
50% of the seats are filled through TNEA and the remaining 50% are reserved for management quota candidates.
Finally, to confirm Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering admission, candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees.

The college offers a two-year full-time M.E programme in the following specialisatons: communication systems, power electronics and drives, biotechnology, computer network engineering, cyber forensics and information security, industrial automation and robotics, mechatronics, chemical engineering, internal combustion engineering and computer science and engineering.

First, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria.
Second, candidates have to appear for GATE, conducted by IIT Kharagpur or Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), conducted by Anna University.
Third, after the declaration of the result, ranks and merit list are released.
A separate merit list is released for GATE qualified candidates.
Fourth, candidates whose names are on the merit list have to appear for TANCA counselling and give preference to SVCE Sriperumbudur.
Finally, after the seat allotment candidates have to report to the allotted institute and submit the documents and pay the fees.
