The institute has magnificently designed separate hostels for the boys each with all facilities for boarding and other recreational activities. The hostels have their own mess to provide good and hygienic food to the boarders. Well-furnished and spacious rooms are there and each room is equipped with different study assets with the proper supervision of the hostel in charge of the office-bearer. A full-time warden is assigned to the hostel, who acts as a friend, philosopher, and guide at the same time maintains strict discipline.

The college library is advanced and well-equipped. It subscribes to numerous collections of curricular books, personality development books, and magazines. Rich Library with a splendid Reading Room. Above all, the library has different journals. Besides the library, a well-furnished reading room helps our students to add potential to their regular course of study. Amenities like reprographic services and CD-ROM databases are available in the library.

The college arranges games and sports events annually in various events usually in the Winter season. The last session annual sports events were 100, 200 m race 400 m relay race, long jump, high jump, slow cycle race, shot put, volleyball, cricket, fast-slow walking as well as Jhoti competition.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has well well-furnished canteen facility to provide hygienic food to its students and employees at a minimum cost. 

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

SSB RIST, Chitrada has a Training & placement cell devoted to catering to the needs of organizations in conducting campus interviews for placements. The training & placement Cell ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangements and hospitality for the visiting company officials. The Training & Placement Cell provides all audiovisual facilities for PowerPoint presentations, written tests, group discussions, and interviews. It plays a very important and key role in counseling and guiding the students of the institute for their successful career placement, which is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of the academic program of the students and their entry into suitable employment. Many reputed companies visit SSB RIST for campus recruitment annually. It also arranges study tours, personality development courses, spoken English – communication skills, etc. This is also reflected in our campus placement, which has been satisfactory year after year but a long way to go to place our students on on-campus and off-campus. Some of our students proceed to engineering colleges to pursue their higher education.
