Hello,
The counselling for all these colleges is based on your NEET UG results.
The counselling for HIMSR is through deemed university counselling. It must be filled separately on the same site as all India counselling and you must enter your preferences.
For st John's and kims Bangalore counselling is through KEA. You must apply for the state counselling under open category and you will have to enter your preferences and you will be eligible for private seats.
CMC Vellore has their own counselling you must fill their admission form once your NEET results are out and counselling forms are uploaded.
All these applications start after completion of NEET exam in May.
Hope this helps
All the best

Hi,

Service bond is the bond taken at the time of admission in the pg courses. Bond status in Karnataka is 3 years or 50 lakhs.

It means a candidate who enrolled to pg courses in Karnataka will have to serve after pg in Karnataka for 5 year if he doesn't do that he have to pay 50 lakhs rupees.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

It is a bond signed at the time of pg admission to medical colleges of a particular state.

If you sign a post pg rural bond status then According to the bond you have to give your service for that state for a perticular period of time. If you failed to pay your services then you have to pay the penalty for that.

The time period of service bond may vary from 1year to five years depending on state.

If you do not like to do the service then you have to pay the penalty upto 50 lakhs depending on the state.

Hope it helps.

Hello,
St. Johns has reservation for various categories of Christians but does not have any SC reservation. So, you will be considered as general quota candidate for St. Johns Institute of Medical Sciences.
According to 2019 cutoff the cutoff in open category was 6490 and for people with Karnataka domicile it was
32,860. Based on this it seems difficult for you to get in St Johns but you can get in BMC and Ramaiah.
St John's is a private college and has no government seats. The total fees of the course is 23.63lakhs.

Hi aspirant,

kindly mention the name of the college which will help us to clear your doubts. Many colleges provide internships with stipend for their students to improve their skills. Some colleges will provide the stipend after the completion of internship only.

Hope it helps.

St. John's Medical College is a Private Medical College and Private Medical Colleges have 3 types of seats. A seat is Government Quota seat. Under this Category, for a General Category student, atleast 500 and above are required and 450 if it is for Reserved Category students. Now B seat is for Management Quota. Under this Category, for General Category student, atleast 400 marks are required and for reserved Category students 350 is the minimum mark. C seat is for NRI students and not for Indian citizens.

Shreyas, you haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, St. John's Medical College is a Private Medical College. And Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through Direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. I your case, there is no free seat per se. It is Government Quota seat. For a seat in this College, your target should be nothing less than 550.

St John's medical college has best patient exposure for MPT

College Infrastructure

I started my Journey in St John's medical college as a MPT Neuro PG since 2023 . In St Johns , Neuro PT dept go hand in hand with PMR dept . We rehabilitate patients from neurology , neuro surgery and PMR department . We get to treat patients with different varieties of neurological disorders . We have a separate Neuro Rehab room for OPD patients. Patient exposure wise St Johns is the best college in Bangalore for MPT neuro program , but when it comes to resources , johns have to improve as Neuro- rehab always prioritise evidence based practice and advancement in technologies to ease the work load of the therapist which results in betterment of patients .
