Hi,
If you uploaded the wrong document while filling out the IIIT Hyderabad SPEC Program application, you should contact the admissions office as soon as possible. IIIT Hyderabad does not specify an official correction window for SPEC application on their website, so immediate action is recommended.

Hi Suraj ,
The exact number of students who appeared for the Special Channel of Admission (SPEC) mode of IIIT Hyderabad in 2024 isn't publicly available . I can provide information on the admission process and eligibility criteria .
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply through SPEC mode , students must have passed 12th standard with Mathematics , Physics , Chemistry and belong to specific categories , such as:
- Studied at a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) from 6th to 12th class .
- Qualified for the UDAAN scheme of CBSE for girls .
Admission Process:
The SPEC mode involves a computer-based entrance examination , followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates . The exam tests subject proficiency in Physics , Mathematics and Chemistry with 25% negative marking .
Available Seats:
For 2024 , the available seats through SPEC mode are:
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) : 15 seats .
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): 15 seats .
