The degree can be obtained in any stream recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) to apply for UPSC Exam.

UPSC civil services examination needs a complete hold over General Studies papers which are classified under four parts, GS I, GS II, GS III and  GS IV. Each of the GS papers have different subjects within them. Basically, these GS subjects are the papers of Economics, History, Geography, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biodiversity, etc.

As you had your here... which is great you're acquired this much  good ..skills in two year which is Greater but as you are talking about entrance test but here are you didn't mention the name of entrance test so kindly mention the name of entrance test so I can tell you the eligibility for that...

Every year the cut off for Symbiosis is based on that particular year entrance examination maximum marks scored by the candidate. However to get a call from Symbiosis for PI and WAT rounds the candidate should have a score of minimum 95+ if he belongs to the general category. The performance in the PI and WAT rounds will finalize the candidate's admission into the college.

I won't say that the placement scenario is as grand as the CS and IT people. The packages are okay to good, and placement success is about 60-80%

The companies that come have high criteria and expectations from the students so only the good ones with the right amount of knowledge and the other things considered are chosen.

One of the main criteria is having no backlogs.

Due to which those who have backlogs get screwed. 

All in all, I'd rather say study properly and avoid backlogs in any college you're in and get as much knowledge as you can, academic and extra, you'll be able to land a job in the placements, if not, don't worry cuz not every company comes to the college, there are still a lot of them out there in the market.
