TCE Madurai Facilities

Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) facilities and infrastructures are provided to the students that ensure that they have access to a comprehensive and diverse learning experience as a whole. Boys Hostel
Men's hostel is divided into four blocks having separate number of rooms and capacities. It is equipped with food courts, home theatre, reading room and garden. Medical facilities in the form of a dispensary and internet facility are also available. Occasional tournaments are also organised within the campus.
Girls Hostel
Women's hostel has a current capacity of around 960 girls and is located in an eco-friendly environment. There are two sprawling dining halls with modern equipment including steam cookers, idli backing unit, separate milk boiler, coffee maker, water cooler, vegetable peeler and cutter and an RO water purifier plant. It has been ensured that each facility is provided to the students in the form of a photocopier stall, grocery store, salon, healthcare centre, gym and laundry.
Medical/Hospital
The college has health centre with a first aid facility for the students.
Gym
The college has Gym facility for the students.
Library
Students can access electronic as well as printed study materials in the library. The collection of the library includes several books, magazines, e-books, journals, e-journals, CD as well as DVDs, video lectures, etc.
Sports
TCE Madurai has several courts for outdoor and indoor games such as basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, table tennis court, hockey, judo, chess, kabaddi, and an athletic track.
I.T Infrastructure
TCE Madurai has a huge computer centre that is filled with several computer systems. The systems can be used by the members of the campus such as staff, faculty members, as well as students for assignments and any other thing.
Cafeteria
The college cafeteria serves delicious and hygienic food at very reasonable prices for students and teachers.
Auditorium
The campus has a very spacious auditorium hall. The hall is used for different events, seminars, conferences.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is five-star, with top notch labs, a spacious campus and comfortable ladies rest area, and excellent facilities. The food can improve, but overall, its outstanding. The spacious campus is an advantage.

College Infrastructure

The classes and library are adequate. Labs are outdated and missing crucial systems for heavy workloads. Hostels are good depending on the block but they are well maintained for the most part. Mess food is good enough. General environment of the campus is good, filled with greenery.

College well-equipped for academic and extracurricular growth. Classrooms are airy and updated with modern facilities. Laboratories in all departments are fully functional, helping students gain practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge. The library is well-stocked and also offers digital learning resources. Hostel facilities are decent, providing safe and comfortable accommodation for both boys and girls.
