TJ Institute of Technology (TJIT) is endowed with an architecture of self-financing with various engineering and management programmes. The institute has the recognition of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and a merit-based admission policy is followed for undergraduate and postgraduate candidates. TJIT aims to have a rigorous admission system, which finds merit students from among an ocean of applicants coming from the state or outside.
The admission cycle at TJ Institute of Technology roughly follows the Tamil Nadu state academic calendar, with almost all programmes beginning in August. For undergraduate engineering programmes, it participates in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling process, whereby a centralised admission scheme evaluates students based on their performance in qualifying examinations and seats them accordingly.
For MBA and MCA programmes, the entrance scores obtained in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) are relied upon for postgraduate admissions. This is an entrance test at the state level for TJ Institute of Technology admission into management and computer application courses. Besides, the institute has also allowed scores of other relevant entrance tests for some of its postgraduate programmes in engineering.
Application Modes differ based on the programme offered by TJ Institute of Technology.
T. John Institute of Technology offers a range of engineering and doctoral programmes in Bangalore. Below are the details mentioned:
TJ Institute of Technology offers a wide variety of undergraduate engineering programmes, such as Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, and Cyber Security. TJ Institute of Technology admission to these programmes is offered by the TNEA counselling process on account of the students having obtained the profits of qualifying examinations.
The MBA programme at TJIT has 120 seats. The TJ Institute of Technology admission process is based on obtaining a TANCET score followed by a process of counselling by the institute.
MCA also has 60 seats. TJ Institute of Technology's admission approach is similar to that of the MBA programme, where they are based on the TANCET score followed by counselling.
TJIT offers many M.E. programmes, including Applied Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering, Engineering Design, and Power Systems Engineering. These have a small intake, ranging from 18-24. For these programmes, the relevant entrance test score may be considered along with the institute's own selection process.
Prepare a set of documents at the time of TJ Institute of Technology admission. Without submission of documents, admissions are not allowed.
