It provides diversified streams of engineering courses at both B.Tech. and Diploma levels. TRAMIET provides B.Tech courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Admission into these courses is based on JEE Main scores and/or HPCET scores as well as direct admission for students who have scored a minimum of 45% marks in their 10+2 examination (40% for students in reserved categories). The number of seats for B.Tech programmes is 120, of which Civil Engineering has 60, while Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering have 30 each.
The institute also offers the Diploma programmes in Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Each Diplom programme has a cut-off of 30 in-take.
