Hello,
Comparing the first year syllabus(common to all branches) of both colleges as first year is often known as general engineering, irrespective of what branch(computer, mechanical, civil or electrical etc) we have choosen we can see that both Mdu rohtak and gju hisar both teach similar subjects like Physics,Chemistry,Mechanics,Basic Electrical engineering,Maths ,workshop/Manufacturing practices,English/communications,Basic/fundamental programming.
So as the syllabus of both universites is mostly the same not only in the first year but throughout the Btech course with difference in just a few topics or chapters here or there both of them will require equal amount of our efforts to clear.
You can look at the detailed review of both the colleges to compare them according to ranking, infrastructure ,student reviews for making a better choice here- https://www.careers360.com/university/guru-jambheshwar-university-of-science-and-technology-hisar#courseOffered
