Vaibhav Institute of Management and Technology, Bulandshahr (VIMT), is a co-educational institution that has been offering several under-graduate degree programs. It follows the merit-based admission criterion for all its courses so that deserving candidates get an opportunity to pursue their desired courses of study. Keeping in mind the varied aspirations of students, the admission process at VIMT is straightforward and user-friendly enough for students from all backgrounds.

The institute offers six types of undergraduate programs in order to satisfy the specific educational needs of students. BBA, BCA, B.Com., BA, B.Sc., B.Ed. comprise those courses. Generally, the admission cycle follows an academic calendar and application acceptance is usually done in the preface months of the course start. For most of the courses VIMT has prepared a merit list on the grounds of the academic records achieved by the applicants. The merit-based selection procedure can be construed as mandatory for all undergraduate courses offered at the institute. 

Application Process

1. Announcement of Admissions: VIMT will announce starting admissions for students through all possible means, including their official website and the local newspaper.

2. Application Form: The interested candidate can download the application form from the institute's website or may even visit the campus in person. The form generally demands certain personal details and some educational history along with the interest in the course.

3. Submission of Documents: Along with the filled-up application form, candidates must provide other required documents. These include:

• 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
• Transfer certificate from the last attended institution
• Character certificate
• Recent passport-sized photographs
• Other relevant specified certificates or documents as prescribed by the institute

4. Application Processing: The admissions committee would review all applications and verify the documents submitted through the applicant's academic achievements.

5. Merit List Preparation: On the basis of this review, VIMT will prepare a merit list for each course, ranking candidates on the basis of their performance in qualifying examinations.

6. Admission Offer: Candidates who secure positions on the merit list are offered admission into their desired program. The institute may contact successful candidates via email or phone.

7. Payment of Fees and Enrollment: Selected candidates may thus have to finish their admission process by paying the requisite fees along with any other additional documents as may be required.

8. Orientation: It is expected that newly admitted students be called to a program of orientation designed to be able to introduce them into the life of the institute and their amenities, as well as academic expectations.

Degree wise Admission Process

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): For admission to the BBA program at VIMT, merit is the basis of admission to the college. A merit list of students should then be made by evaluating their academic performance focusing mainly on their results for 10 + 2 to admit students who are eligible to join the program.

BCA (Bachelor in Computer Applications): Like BBA, admission in this course BCA is also merit-based. The institute then scrutinizes the applications and forms a merit list on the candidates' academic records before giving successful ones admission to the program.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): This follows the same merit-based approach for admissions; B.Com admissions will be based on the academic results obtained in a qualifying examination linked to fulfilling the admission prerequisites.

BA (Bachelor of Arts): The merit-based entry of applicants is done by VIMT based on their academic performance. The candidates who come on this merit list are then selected for admission.

B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): Besides merit, the same applies to the admission process B.Sc. The academic records of applicants, particularly in the field of science, are evaluated for eligibility as well as ranking for admission.

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The approved intake of students into the B.Ed program, which attaches 100 seats, follows a merit-based admission process. In as much as it is NCTE approved and admission criteria may consider more, specific issues relevant to teacher education, the principle remains based on academic merit.
