Vasavi Jnana Peetha Polytechnic was started at 1993. This AICTE approved affiliated college offers diploma in different disciplines of engineering. Established on a tiny plot of 0.5 acres of land the polytechnic has a current population of 86 students and it is conducting by 18 staffers. The institute strives to be a premier technical education providing institution, currently offering three full time diploma courses that aim to build technology professionals through practical and technical know how.

Vasavi Jnana Peetha has some of the facilities, which includes the modern facilities for the improvement of the student learning activity. The college contains endorsed laboratories that afford the students real exposure operating under the modern industrial standards. Vasavi Jnana Peetha Polytechnic has a total of three diploma courses, and all of them are regular full time programmes. This institute has a total intake capacity of 150 seats for all the courses for which admissions are available. These diploma courses- Computer Science and Engineering and Diplma in Commercial Practice etc. aim at providing learner with skills and the knowledge for successful practice within respective fields. The length of each programme is three years, which gives a student sufficient time to master content in the given course and acquire sufficient practical experience in the selected field.
