The college has very good infrastructure suitable for academics. It has well-equipped classrooms. It includes digital boards, and laboratories with proper working equipment. The extra facilities, such as sports, canteen, and medical. They are also up to the standards one would expect.
Teachers are very knowledgeable and help provide subject clarity. They are willing to solve your queries. The course curriculum is very relevant as it makes students industry-ready and provides enough exposure to the outside world. Semester exams are moderately difficult. I would say the pass percentage is 80 percent.
Around 60-70 percent of students from my course get placed, as per my knowledge. The highest package is 16 LPA. The average is 2 LPA. The lowest is 80 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, JP Morgan, and Case. Top roles are Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, and AI Analyst.
We have a very big infrastructure and library, as well as a digital library for hands-on experience. Hostel facility for 1st year is okay, but excellent for 2nd year and above years, as there are separate hostels for students needs
The teachers are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly with the students. As an autonomous institution, VNR has edited the syllabus as per the industry requirement, not copying and pasting the JNTU syllabus. It regularly updates its regulation of the syllabus. The semester exams are okay, I think around 40%-50% pass in mechanical
70-50% percent of students were placed in your course. Top recruiting companies are TCS and many more. Tata is also one of the major recruiters, along with TCS. Tech Mahindra and Mahindra also recruit people from mechanical backgrounds. Hyundai also recruits. Aveva gave the highest package.
The infrastructure of the department will be very good. The Wi-Fi will be provided for the students for the courses and their laptops. The labs will be very special for the students, and many systems will be provided to them. The hostel quality will be very good.
Faculty members will be very friendly. The teaching will be excellent that many students get the idea about the subject very easily. The students get many opportunities with the help of the course we are studying. The difficulty level will not be at the maximum, nor will not be easy, it will be a proper level
65-90% of students got placed in good companies. The highest package is 14 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA. Recruiting companies include Amazon, Deloitte, JP Morgan, and other companies. Nearly 50 to 60 different companies will come to campus every year.
Wi-fi, labs, e-classrooms, library, sports, and open-air auditorium are available. The hostel quality is very good and no non-veg food is available. Medical facilities are available in the hostel. Many sports and coaches are available, but we should not pay any amount for learning games.
Teachers are very helpful. They motivate us, and only highly qualified lecturers are considered in our college. The teaching quality is excellent. Course curriculum is relevant. They provide many other courses for future employment. The difficulty level of exams is moderate. 90% is pass percentage.
Before the recession, 70% placements were provided. But after recession, only 40% of students got placed. The highest package is around 10 -15 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. Recruiting companies are Silicon Labs, Deloitte, Infosys, Qualcomm, Microsoft, and Deshaw
Our college has good infrastructure. Our campus is clean and neat. Hostels are maintained cleanly, and hostel food is much better. Classrooms are neat, and computers in every lab are in good condition and also have a good internet connection.
Our CSE faculty is 9/10, where the concepts are explained really well with detailed explanations. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exam is based on your preparation strategy and how you attempt the exam.
Our college provides good placement offers. Top recruiting companies that recruit seniors are JP Morgan, Salesforce, Wipro, and Amazon. 70% of students get internships from our course in companies like Wipro (according to my knowledge). Overall, our college provides very good placement offers.
There are more facility rooms, and there will be more. The Wi-Fi signal is great, and rooms are neat and clean. There are a lot of opportunities for sports. Our sports mam is very nice, she gives us a lot of information, and we can play kabaddi and cricket too
Teachers and faculty are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of speaking and education, and the curriculum is relevant. Students are made industry-ready, and the pass percentage is 41%. To pass, you need to get 21.
There are two types of placements, so 1 is smart interviews and another one is being zero. We definitely get into placements with a nice package, and many people have been placed with 10 LPA, which is the highest package achieved in 2024
The infrastructure for ECE and CSE are quite good. The classrooms are spacious with projectors, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, and well-equipped labs for electronics, communication, and basic programming. The library has a good collection of technical books and journals. The hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms
Most of the faculty members are qualified and supportive, though the teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. Some professors explain concepts well with practical examples, while others rely more on theory, so it is updated but still more academic than industry-oriented. Additional workshops and training are needed to bridge the skill gap
Around 65–70% of students from the ECE and CSE batch got placed, while some chose higher studies or off-campus opportunities. The highest package was around 12– 15 LPA, the average stood at 4–5 LPA, and the lowest was around 2.5–3 LPA. Faculty members are good, they are highly aware of what the students want. They use simple language that is easy to understand. The course is slightly old. Different from the course, you have to learn other language courses. There are two semesters in a year, and each semester has two sessionals, which are conducted by the college.
As I passed out batch is 2021-2026, it was almost a lockdown phase. My interview is done in online mode. TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc., are the companies that conducted the interview. TCS is the top recruiter. The highest package offered is 3.3 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 1.8 LPA.
The campus has well-equipped with classrooms with smart boards, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a central library with sufficient books and e-resources. Labs are modern and maintained properly. Hostel facilities are decent with spacious rooms, 24/7 water and electricity, and reasonable cleanliness. The mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteen provides better alternatives.
Most of the clg faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable for doubts. They use both traditional teaching and modern methods like presentations and lab sessions. The curriculum is regularly updated as per industry requirements, focusing on both core concepts and skill development.
Around 75-80% of students in my batch got placed. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, the lowest 3 LPA, and the average package 5 to 6 LPA. Major recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, and some core companies for non-IT branches. Many students also received internships in reputed companies like Cognizant and startups.
There are Wi-Fi, labs, and smart classrooms available for students in every block of the campus. Labs are very good. Only problem is that we cannot access any website other than college related websites from the labs. There is a very big library on campus which can be accessed throughout the day. Students are allowed to rent books from the library for up to 4 weeks. Hostels are very nice.
Faculty members are okay but the curriculum is very nice in this college. Exams are conducted every 5 weeks. Exam duration will be 1 week. The curriculum is relevant to the course. The curriculum has a special feature that allows us to choose the subject we wish to study

With a rank of 72,000 in KCET, getting admission to a Data Science program at Vemana Institute of Technology might be challenging, but it is not impossible. Admission to engineering courses through KCET depends on several factors, including the popularity of the course, the number of seats available, and the cutoffs for that particular year.
Data Science is a highly sought-after field, and the competition for seats can be intense. Typically, the cutoff ranks for popular branches like Data Science tend to be lower (meaning a higher rank is needed). However, cutoffs can vary each year based on demand and the performance of candidates.
If you are set on studying Data Science at Vemana Institute of Technology and your rank is slightly above the typical cutoff, you might still have a chance during later rounds of counseling or spot admissions if seats remain vacant. Additionally, exploring management quota seats could be an option, though this may involve a higher fee structure.
It’s advisable to attend all rounds of counseling and keep an eye on seat availability. Also, consider applying to other colleges with a similar ranking cutoff, or exploring related fields like Computer Science or Information Technology, which might have more flexible cutoffs.
