Hello anupam.
I can help u in this buddy
First of all congratulations for ur great performance in CMAT EXAM. The percentile u have scored is appropriate to get a call from the GREAT LAKES as the cut off of the college is 95% percentile and u r in that criteria only. U can apply for it without any hesitation and I m pretty sure u will be selected as u are having a good past experience with u
U can also check for other good collegea in ur criterion by following this link.

Hello Rittick Debnath,

Based on this score the chances are less to get a call form Great Lakes Institute of Management. Other colleges you can have the chances for the colleges Institute of Management and Information Science, Bhubaneswar, Master School of Management, Meerut, Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida, Goa Institute of Management, Goa, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal etc. You can check your other best chances with XAT Pathfinder Tool.

Abhishek Roy Student Expert 9th Feb, 2019

HELLO SHAMMI!

Your percentile is greater than  cuttoff percentile of Great lakes of management but you don't have any working experience.Only such candidate can apply for PGPM or PGDM courses who have minimum working experience of 24 months and percentile at least 90 in CMAT.Only fresh graduates and candidates with less than 24 months experience after graduation as on 30th june 2019 is elligible to apply. But you have done internship in CA firm, you should apply.Let see what happens. But having minium 24 month work experience is mandatory.

You can ask if you have any other queries.

GOOD LUCK!

What is the CMAT cutoff (marks) for great lakes Chennai ?

Shalu Dua 25th Nov, 2019

Candidates are evaluated based on GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT scores, past academic performance, essays, work experience (if any) and performance in the personal interview. The selection process builds in a criterion that facilitates evaluating each applicant on Academic Abilities, Standardized Test Scores, Rank Holders, Integrity & Ethical Values and Diversity of Background. At Great Lakes, we do not have fixed cut-offs, we try to evaluate candidates in a holistic manner. We consider the complete profile, so while the test scores are important, we emphasize more on selecting well-rounded candidates with a strong overall track record.

I secured 87 percentile in CMAT. I have outstanding academics and a good profile. Am I eligible to get a call from Great Lakes , Chennai

Shravan Hari 6th Feb, 2019

Hi Lin, generally colleges release their cutoofs in a few days after CMAT results are announced. Cutoffs are nothing but score which is the minimum expected score to be considered. It varies every yesr based on various factors. Generally going by past records, Great Lakes Chennai has a cut off of 90+. Great Lakes also gives weightage to academics, but it will be very tight considering the fact the cut off has not been touched. Anyhow apply for Great Lakes, if there are seats available, there would be high chances to get in with this score and good profile. All the best !! You may also use our oath finder, to hsve a detailed knowledge of the other colleges thst can be obtained

Hi Shriya,

Thanks for connecting with Careers360.

Your experience might be helpful in getting you a call from Great Lakes Chennai if luck favors you. Although your XAT score is not good enough to get you a sure shot call. However, GLIM Gurgaon seems very much possible.

All the best,

can i get a call from Tapmi, Fore(Delhi) , Great lakes(chennai) with a score of 25.1 in xat 2019 ?

Yash Bhandari 13th Jan, 2019

Hello Rittick,

Since you have given the XAT exam and your score is 25.1, I would like to tell you that there are chances that you might, not sure, but you might get a call.

The chances are slim because the colleges that you have mentioned above require a minimum of 90 percentile.

Still, hoping for the best, there is a chance you might get a call.
