BITS,Pilani and BIT,Mesra are two different colleges.To get admission into colleges like Bits Pilani,Bits Goa,Bits hyderabad you have to clear BITSAT.To get admission into Bit,Mesra you have clear jee mains.Bit,Mesra is funded by government and does not take admission on the basis of BITSAT marks.Hope you can find the difference now.

Hey, congratulations on such a good score. 

As per the previous year trends, the cutoff for mechanical engineering at birla institute of technology, hyderabad, is about the mark range of 290-300 range.

It has been dropping since the last 2 years too.

So you can expect to get waitlisted on such a score. But there are other branches too and you can change your branch after a year if it is allowed ( ask during the counselling process). The same applies for bits goa although the cutoffs are a bit lower.

Hey Aspirant.

See the marks u have scored is too low for u to bag a seat in any of the BITs college under any of the stream to pursue ur higher studies in the field of ur interest under btech courses as the cut off is above 300-310 marks. U should be going for other private college and that might require management quota.

If you're getting 360, you are just about safe I'd say to get CSE in BITS-Pilani 

CSE closed last year at 354 at BITS-Pilani but things might change so I'd say you're on the boundary line of the scheme of things I would say.

Hi. BITS raklist is prepared based only on the the marks obtained inBITSAT. Your plus two score is not considered. However, your plus two score needs to be above a certain percentage, which is declared by BITS.You also need to have marks in individual subjects above a certain percentage, also declared by BITS to be eligible for admission.

No, the fee structure for BITS differ only by the campus and not by the rank achieved by a student in the BITSAT exam. However the fee structure for in campus student differs from that opting to stay outside the premises/on their own, without availing the hostel facility that is provided.
