Sir.. according to the general cutoff for BITS Hyderabad campus.

It is highly unlikely to get any core departments for 241 marks actually.

However she can get the following 2 departments in BITS Hyderabad 

• B.Pharm (hons.)
• MSc.(Biological Science)

294 is a realy good score. Looking at the cutoffs for ece field last year (298) and the years before that (310) and (324). This shows that there is a very slim chance of getting in. But maybe in the next rounds of counselling you might get in. You might get into electronics and communication engg. Apart from ece and cs there is a very good chance of getting into hyderabad campus. And you can enquire about internal sliding after admission during the counselling process.

270 marks is a little low than the last year cut off of ECE branch at BIT Hyderabad.

Last year cut off of electronics and related branch are as follows:

B.E. Electrical and Electronics - 298 marks

B.E. Electronics & Communication - 312 marks

B.E. Electronics & Instrumentation  -286 marks

There might be slight change in the cut off and you might get but not sure.Cut off depends on the number of students appeared and their aggregate marks  .Hope for the best.

Mode of admission in BITS PILANI is

One needs to take the BITSAT examination and fulfill the BITS Admissions eligibility criteria.

Admissions are done on the basis of score in BITSAT through BITS Counselling.

So as you can see it is impossible to get admission in BITS without giving BITSAT and just scoring 88.2 % in cbse. 

If one is a topper of his board then he can get direct admission is BITS PILANI.

I think BITS Hyderabad is better as Chemical Engineering is a core Branches and BITS being the brand name can attract many PSUs at the campus for placement and BITS has brand name. And in terms of education it is much better than VIT VELLORE. 

I know BITS Hyderabad is new it may create some doubt in your mind but I think for core branches it is better to join a college which has good faculty and academics and a brand name.

There is not difference in campuses. they are situated at different place like rajasthan,goa and hyderabad. On the basis of location, fee structure and selection rank differs.

you should go for one in which you are comfortable according to your domicile or living. This is choice of yours. No other person can tell you which is best for you.

Shiv Nagar University is considered as one of the best universities .

University is good in all the aspects from placements to faculties to infrastructure. Also there is a career development cell that prepare students for placement interviews. 

Excellent on campus jobs are offered to students. All the admissions are merit based and there is no management quota.

Reputed companies like HCL , dell etc visit for placements. So overall reviews of University are good , faculties are also well experienced and supportive .

As per the eligibility criteria of BITs Pilani:-

• Candidates must have secured 75% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry combined, with atleast 60% each in Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry

Since you scored 84+, i would ask you to add your marks in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics and divide by 300 to check if it is atleast 75%. Also since you have scored 46 in chemistry which is nothing but 46%,you haven't cleared the eligibility required in each subject which is 60%.

So,your chances in admission to bits pilani based on eligibility criteria is not possible.
