Hello Manoj,

There are two kinds of scholarships awarded - Merit Scholarship and Merit cum Need (MCN) Scholarship.

For Merit Scholarship, As the name suggests, the criteria for this one is solely merit. It is usually awarded to the top performers CGPA wise. This is limited in number so you've got to work really hard for this one. In such a case, the fees for that semester is completely waived. Everyone is eligible for this scholarship.

For MCN Scholarship, your parent's income needs to be below a certain amount. If you are eligible for it, then it is awarded in three categories, 25%, 40% & 80% of the tuition fee for that semester.

Good luck!

Hello Vijay!

Your planning is really good but do you think that these targets are realistic to you?

Is it wise to set such a target where even a slight mistake will ruin your effort. While studying if money issue will keep penetrating your mind then you won't be able to focus well on studies and you will be in pressure.

It isn't easy to hit 10 Cgpa all the time.

I'll suggest you to try for education loan. You will pay that after getting your b.tech done or you must go for some government college instead like most students do.

All the best!

Hello

After the candidates have successfully submitted the online application form of BITSAT, the BITSAT 2019 application form number will be generated. You must keep it safe as a proof as this would be required for all future reference.

Good Luck!

75% off on tuition fee is for 4 years or just one year?

And what else can I do, to not to be, a financial burden on my family. Are there any extra scholarships?

Hello Poorvi  ,

BITS Provides two scholarships :

1. Merit cum need ( based on CGPA, upto 80% can be waived)
if you don't mess with acads you can easily get 60% fees concession .

2. Merit scholarship
As you come to campus on the joining day itself you can see different banks with their respective stalls in front of the academic buildings. All you need is your BITS ID card as security and loan repayment time is long enough (minimum 4-6 years).
I would say  from my knowledge, an average Bitsian once passed out from the campus can completely repay his loan from savings of his  2 years earnings.
My suggestion in the end is out of all the reasons one could think of not joining BITS Pilani, getting a loan should be the last reason and should not be much of a matter of concern.
The scholarships only cover the college fees. the mess fees doesn't come under it.

HOPE IT HELPS!

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the MBA students at BITS Pilani is well-organized and up-to-date. Classrooms are spacious, with projectors and audio-visual systems installed, enhancing lectures. The campus Wi-Fi is satisfactory, though speed reduces slightly in times of high usage. Seminar halls, case study rooms, and group discussion rooms are available for management students.

Overall my experience so far has been nice.
