An important point to consider with the NITs is that these institutions have been established over a period of over 56 years. Due to this disparity, some NITs came into existence as early as 1961 while some came into being two years back in 2015. Consequently the reputation and demand of the old NITs is much more than the new NITs.

While the new NITs will surely go on to become reputed and renowned, they don’t gather as much clamor as the old NITs do as off now. The elite NITs include NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Suratkal, MNIT Allahabad, NIT Surat, NIT Rourkela and NIT Durgapur.

To pit against BITS Pilani, we shall consider NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal.

BITS is a very old and renowned name in Indian technical education. Established in 1964 to meet the growing demand for quality technical education, BITS started off in a sleepy village in Rajasthan 200 km away from New Delhi called Pilani.

Pilani now has become a name synonymous as being the center of one of India’s biggest technical institutions, BITS.

Hi! BITS Pilani is undoubtedly one of the best private Engineering colleges out there. It offers Bachelors’ in Engineering degree in various fields like B.E. (HONS) in Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. The percentage of students placed in 2019 were 82.08%, and their average package (BE & ME) and their average package was 14.86 lacs per annum. BITS Pilani was ranked 25th among engineering colleges & 39th among universities by NIRF.

Now, on the other hand, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed University. Last year, BIT Mesra received an average package of INR 11.76 lakhs per annum. The total number of job offers were: 831, and the total number of recruiters were 120. The highest national salary of INR 49.76 lakhs per annum for BE Programme. BIT Mesra was ranked 85th overall and 38th in Engineering colleges last year in the NIRF rankings.

SLIET Punjab is a government institute of technology which name is is sant longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology located in Sangrur Punjab.

BIT sindri Punjab is located in in Dhanbad Jharkhand also government institute of technology.

S l i e t Punjab was established in the year of 1989. It is established bye bhai only Ministry of Human Resource development India.

BIT sindri per BIT sindri Jharkhand established in 1969 1969 which is one of the oldest Engineering College of India.

Respect of education beats sindri is is a little bit of better than longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology Sangrur district Punjab.

In respect of placement beats Sindhi Dhanbad Jharkhand is better than longowal Institute of Engineering Technology Punjab.

From BIT sindri Dhanbad Jharkhand in the year of 2019 ,381 pass out  student  has been got placement in different renowned MNCs. Average salary of placement is 5.60 lacs per annum and the highest salary packages 10.1 locks per annum for BE passout student. Many answers above have very well summarized the points on which distinction can be made. But the most important difference according to me is that of culture. Culture in BITS is simply amazing with a hell lot of opportunities for personal growth. Also, the level of fests and campus life which BITS offers is pretty unique and difficult to get at NIT TRICHY. So if you have the resources BITS can be ur first preference. Also an important thing considering the ever important question of Placements. At BITS most of the companies would you treat u at par with IITs( I know of Bosch, GE because of my background) which I don't believe can be the case with NIT TRICHY.
Both NITs and BITS have quality infrastructure because they are one of the world's prestigious technology institutes. However, BITS might have a slight edge as it is better equipped to meet the growing demands of students. BITS is also well staffed because the number of students are less in comparison to NITs.
Nevertheless both institutions are good it depends on you what you wanted to prefer.

I think you are talking about BITSAT. According to the previous year cutoff you have chances to get Bits with CSE branch.

BITSAT counselling results of 2020 are released in the form of iterations. BITSAT result of iteration consists of admit and wait list. Those candidates who will be listed in the admit list will be allotted seats into the participating institutes while the wait list candidates have to check their BITSAT allotment status in the next iteration round. After each round of iteration, candidates can take the course or branch offered or they can go for the next round of  iteration. Those candidates who are not allotted but have a chance in the future counselling rounds are listed out in the wait list. There is a higher probability of allotment to these candidates in the next round .All of the selected candidates will have to confirm their allotment by depositing the fees within the timeline specified by the authorities. The students in the waitlist will have to make a fee payment to participate in the next rounds of iterations.

NO, I think there is no second semester admits in bits pilani this year. Lateral admission are rare and i think there is no plan for this in current year.

BITS stands for Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and it has three branches in Hyderabad, Goa and Dubai, named as BITS Hyderabad, BITS Goa, and BITS Dubai with the main center at Pilani called as BITS PILANI. As per my knowledge after comparing these two colleges BITS  pilani ,pilani Campus and IIT tirupati with civil branch. I will give you advice to choose IIT tirupati as its placement, infrastructure, faculty is better .
The average salary in IIT tirupati with civil branch is 9.8 LPA.
The total fees in IIT tirupati for civil engineering is 8.32 lakh .
