which is best among BITS , Hyderabad campus or VIT Vellore ???

A good university is the one where is good faculty, infrastructure, placements, events etc. By comparing these features you can take the decision. You can visit to websites of both or can visit to campus.

I did BBA-MBA from Lovely Professional University and my experience was amazing. LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support.

Hostels:-The first thing that almost parents are concerned about is the safety. And LPU is one campus that takes security of all their students very seriously. There are automated biometric machines that keep a record of each entry and exit in the hostel. Next comes food, the mess here is super hygienic and provides us with quality food four times a day.

The industry exposure that we got during our tenure is commendable. I can clearly see the difference in terms of concept clarity and strong basics at my workplace and I owe it all to my college .

You can find the comparison between BITS Hyderabad and VIT Vellore:

• BITS Hyderabad- It is the newest BITS college and the NIRF ranking for all the BITS combined is 25th . The campus has 275 acres of land with a central library, auditorium, laboratories, 8 hostels (6 boys and 2 girls) and is well equipped with new technology and sports facilities. This college gives a lot of freedom in education: one can choose their own time table, there is no consideration of attendance and every student has to do a semester long internship. The placements in this college had an average package of Rs 10 lpa and the maximum package was of Rs 35 lpa. The various companies that came as recruiters were Amazon, google, Honda, Infosys etc. The annual fee is 2.33 lpa and and the hostel fee is Rs 27,300 (may vary).
• VIT Vellore- The NIRF ranking for this college is 18th. the campus has 372 acres of land with 23 hostels (17 boys and 6 girls). It is well equipped with sports facilities as well. There are 700+ recruiters for placements with the highest package of 41 lpa. The mess charges and hostel fee may vary. It also has numerous student exchange programs.

1. BITS PILANI 2. BITS GOA 3. BITS HYDERABAD BITS in itself a brand and is a highly reputable university across the world. Vellore Institute of technology has 4 institutions under its name. 1. VIT VELLORE 2. VIT CHENNAI 3. VIT BHOPAL

VIT is one of the most prestigious institutions of South India, but that's for now restricted to just the two campuses - Vellore and Chennai.

As you're mainly interested in the computer science and engineering branch, I'd just like to point out a few things which will be different in these colleges.

First, the coding culture. I'm in no way saying it's bad in VIT, but when you compare it with any of the BITS campuses it's just way better. Everyone's just trying to learn and make something new. There won't be any pressure on you from someone but it's just the way things work here that you get motivated to work.

Plus the most important thing is literally everyone is here through merit. There is no management or NRI quota so you can be sure that all your peers are one of the sharpest minds of the country.

Second, one of the most important factors to consider while choosing a college is its placement statistics and VIT certainly lacks a little behind BITS in the computer science department. Again VIT isn't bad but BITS shines here.

According to my opinion , I used to tell BITS Hyderabad is better  in the core Branches and BITS being the brand name can attract many PSUs at the campus for placements also . And in terms of education BITS hyderabad is better than VIT VELLORE. But due to some reasons  it may create some doubt in your mind but I used to tell that, for core branches it is better to join a college which has good faculty and academics and a brand name.
