I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

See if you are targeting for a Management course later in your life like an MBA, then more than your branch the brand of your college matters more. The best colleges out there should be your preference, so the order according to me is:

BITS Goa
BITS Hyderabad
NIT Surat
NIT Allahabad
NIT Calicut
NIT Nagpur

You can also use our college predictor to see your chances in all the colleges:

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Greetings!

See if you have LNMIIT and BITS goa as an option, Manipal Jaipur and North eastern NITs fall out the question instantly.

I would say LNMIIT and BITS are really only two practical options, now from both those it is a tough call, I can list down pros and cons for you, but you are the one who has to take call...

See BITS Goa will certainly have a much better college life, however at the same time it going to be more expensive.

Coming to placements it will depend on your branch in BITS, like in dual degree your other Btech branch is decided upon your performance in first year. So if you manage to get CSE in BITS, it is certainly going to be better than LNMIIT. If you get ECE it will be slightly better, if you get other branches I would say LNMIIT would fair better.

In the end I would say both are really good options you can pick anyone.

Dear Aspirant,

If you don't have a lot of choices then yes, BITS Dubai is a good option.

Generally, according to the alumni reviews, BITS Dubai's standards is not close to Pilani or Hyderabad. The faculties and coursework isn't that great. You'll have to spend a lot of money for travel, fee and living.

Hence, given all these points we can say that it isn't that great a choice . But, at the end of your degree you will get the BITS brand name.

If you are getting a good private college in India like LPU, Thapar, SRM, Amrita, VIT, SASTRA, please do go for it.

If you choose BITS Dubai, make sure you work hard and go out of your way to get lucrative internship experiences.

Hope this helps.

Hello aspirant!

Hope you are doing well.

BITS (BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE) organizes BITSAT exam for admission of undergraduate courses in BITS Pilani, BITS goa and BITS Hyderabad.

You have mentioned that you scored 166 marks in the exam. 166 is a quite low score. So your chances of getting a seat in counselling is quite less.

You can refer to the previous year cut-offs for BITS Pilani below-

  • BE Chemical Engineering Hons- 281
  • BE Civil Engineering Hons- 269
  • BE Computer Science Engineering Hons- 383
  • BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering Hons- 341
  • BE Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Hons- 328
  • BE Manufacturing Engineering Hons- 255
  • BE Mechanical Engineering Hons- 313

Hope this helps. All the best.

Hi,

GPAT is a Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is a national level test for admission in Post Graduation program in pharmacy.

For the eligibility criteria, one should have completed undergraduate course in pharmacy which is of four years of duration.

The cut-off for GPAT in general category used to be about 185 to 190 (from past trends).

Yes, Birla institute of technology offers admission through GPAT, so if you qualify the current cutoff and all minimum criteria of admission, you can apply and have a great chance of admission.

Yes, you can freshly apply directly in second round.

All the best.

Hello aspirant,

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, offers a four-year full-time Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering programme.

Admissions will be made solely on the basis of merit. The candidate's merit position for admission will be determined by the candidate's BITSAT score. However, their entrance is conditional on meeting the above-mentioned minimum mark criterion in the 12th grade.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

With 290 you won't be getting any fancy branches or some of the most sought-after courses, but you'll definitely get something in the BITS Pilani, Hyderabad or Goa campuses. Some of the branches that you may get are:

Pilani Campus:
BE Civil
BE Chemical
B.Pharm

Goa Campus:
BE Civil
BE Chemical
BE Mechanical

Hyderabad Campus:
B.E. Electronics & Instrumentation
BE Mechanical

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

BITS has no management quota and no reservations. The foundation trusts in a meritocracy. 3. Less number of young ladies could be in light of various factors remembering low interest in designing, quitting BITS, picking Goa or Pilani over Hyderabad, and selecting a superior or a lesser college. BITSAT has no sort of reservation model for confirmation, it just confirms the view of legitimacy.

Hello,

BITS, Goa and BITS, Hyderabad offers B.E Electronics & Communication. In 2020 the cut off was as follows for admission to Electronics & Communication

  • BITS, Goa: 320
  • BITS, Hyderabad: 314

Considering the cut off you do not have chances to get seat in any of the BITS campus with the given score. It is difficult to get seat in any other course with the given rank considering the cut off in 2020. You need to score minimum 280 marks or above in BITSAT to get seat in BITS. To check the cut off you may use the link given below

https://www.bitsadmission.com/bitsat/2021/BITSAT-2020%20Cut-off%20Scores.pdf

Cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates applied, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
