Hello Priya,
Listed below are some tips that can help students to prepare for NEET Easily:
1. Prepare for NEET as per the syllabus and Guidelines
Before you prepare for NEET, you should gather complete information related to the syllabus. You can then compare the exam syllabus with the board syllabus and plan your study time accordingly. This would give you some extra hours to concentrate on your syllabus which is not covered in the board syllabus. However, do not waste your time on topics that are not included in the syllabus.
2. Prepare a proper study Schedule
Students should have a good study schedule that is to be followed for the NEET Preparation. Plan your schedule in such a way that there are no long hours of study. Include frequent intervals between study hours so that your mind is not blocked. Once you follow a schedule, it would make it easier to maintain your time and cover the entire syllabus.
3. Prioritize and Work a bit extra on your weaker areas
As a candidate preparing for NEET, you should focus more on weak topics. Do not avoid the weaker areas as it might weaken your preparation. Try to prioritize the topics according to the importance and the level of your merit. The sooner you start preparing the better it is, as it would give you ample time to revise the weaker topics and prepare.
4. Evaluate your work
Your preparation is incomplete without proper evaluation. Always make it a point to evaluate your performance based on your preparation. Make sure to do it regularly. Take mock tests, solve old question papers, take tests with your friends, and follow tips of your seniors. In this way, it would be easier to cover almost all topics.
5. Stay Healthy
When you are preparing for NEET, make sure you take good care of your health. Your study schedule would involve long hours and late nights, which can affect your health. Also, always aim to eat well, take frequent breaks, avoid junk food, exercise or walk, meditate for improved concentration.
With all these tips being followed with full dedication, preparation for NEET won’t be difficult for the coming year. Wish you all the best!!
Most people join PG coaching from 2nd year or 3rd year, so I would suggest you wait at least until 2nd year (since it is 18 months long you will get time to attend coaching also). 1st year is very hectic and there is too much portion to cover in a short time, so focus on 1st year and then join in 2nd year.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra offers a well-maintained and resourceful campus with everything a student needs for academic and personal growth. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity. The central library is one of the best parts of the campus, with ample study space, digital resources, and access to journals required for research and assignments. Hostels are clean, spacious, and regularly maintained, and the mess food is satisfactory with decent hygiene standards. The campus also includes indoor and outdoor sports facilities, well-equipped laboratories, medical services, cafeterias, a post office, and a bank, making it a self-sustained environment.
BIT Mesra has really good infrastructure and facilities that make college life comfortable and productive. The classrooms are clean, spacious, and have projectors for better learning. Labs are fully equipped with modern instruments, and everything is well maintained so practical work never feels like a hassle. The library is huge — it’s a peaceful place to study with thousands of books and online resources. Sports facilities are great too; we have grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and even indoor games and a gym. Hostels are neat and the rooms are decent in size with good Wi-Fi. The food in the mess is hygienic and better than what you’d expect in most colleges. The campus overall is very green and pleasant, and there’s a medical center available for any emergencies. It honestly feels like everything a student might need is already here.
