As per the official website of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, the last date to apply for admissions was April 6, 2018. The institute takes admissions on the basis of the scores of CAT, XAT, CMAT and MAT. The institute offers 2-year full time MBA program in HR, Marketing, Finance, and System Management. For this year, BIT accepted the scores of MAT September 2017, December 2017 and February 2018. The candidates who apply are shortlisted first on the basis of the scores in any one of the MBA entrance exams and the shortlisted ones are called for GD-PI rounds.

You can apply next year for admissions at BIT Mesra.

regarding your question in order to be eligible for counseling and getting seat you need to clear cutoff in exams. If you have not qualified the cutoff then you are not eligible for getting admissio.
