Hello,

I hope you are doing good,

Talking about coding competitively there have been less chance a team from BIT do well in coding competitions. If we talk about a "wide campus" but the total number of students there which is much higher than you would expect at IIITA.

And for those who talk about packages, the standard IIITA package this year was 11.2 lakhs and BIT was 6.33 lakhs.

When I get to the area, I am sure that Allahabad is a better place than Mesra.

All in all, you can choose any program in IIITA over BIT Mesra at any time.

IIIT ALLAHABAD- https://www.careers360.com/university/indian-institute-of-information-technology-allahabad

BIT MESRA-

https://www.careers360.com/university/birla-institute-of-technology-mesra

Dear Abhishek,

I would suggest you to go for BIT, Mesra rather than going for B.I.T Sindri...B.I.T Mesra is far better than B.I.T. Sindri.

Moreover, if we look between Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering, both are of great scope if you have interest in it. Please choose the one you have keen interest in. Only then you will succeed. Both the Engineering degrees will offer you great exposure. Scope of Mechanical Engineering includes opportunities in aerospace, automobile, chemical manufacturing plants, oil exploration, railway coach factory, research, and development. While, the scope of Civil Engineering lies in developing, designing, planning, calculating, monitoring construction as well as executing and managing the construction of buildings, roads and physical structures like bridges, dams, etc. and their maintenance.

Hope this helps.

Hi there,

In simple words, the answer depends on what you have in your mind regarding your future.

See, there are different types of students in every branch and field. The thing that matters is the amount of hard work with correct a hint of knowledge they acquire in their college time. You can go with Chemical if you have an interest in dealing with chemicals but remember the job perspective is quite low and mostly in private sectors.

Also, the salary range is quite low as compared to Civil engineers. So it is a must to understand every single thing from the bottom to the maximum reach.

Talking about Civil engineering, the job level is better because the salary and job roles vary. Usually, the salary range starts from 4 LPA and it gradually increases.

As you have questioned about being an average student can pursue chemical engineering in a better way or not?

See, anyone can do better in any field they got interested in. So it depends on your interest.

Hope this answer helps.

Revert in case of any doubt.

Wishing you very good luck :)

The marks vs rank change every year depending upon numerous factors such as following-

•Number of applicants in NEET exam

•NEET question paper difficulty level

•Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

So since paper this year was a bit hard compared to the paper last year, it is very much likely that the rank at a particular marks will dip.

Hi aspirant,

Here is the overview of plan on how you can manage time for clat preparation section wise:

  • General Knowledge and current affairs are subjects which the candidate must do self-study as there is nothing conceptual that requires a guide or a teacher. So give it atleast half an hour per day.
  • Logical Reasoning can seem to be tricky, but if you put your mind to it you can decipher it without much effort. It is all about using some common sense and logic, but you will need lots of practice to master the section. The logical section would include questions on blood relations, analogies, syllogism, and logical sequences. So make sure you have good materials to prepare for it and try to complete or practice a topic per day rather than going for time.
  • To prepare for questions in this section, one should pick up quantitative aptitude questions for practice. Questions in this section will be from a variety of topics like Number systems, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics, and Probability. Give minimum an hour for mathematics.
  • The legal aptitude section is an important section in CLAT 2021. The section would consist of two parts: Legal Reasoning and Legal Knowledge. To answer questions from the Legal Reasoning section, one must be able to carefully read and understand what it is asking before proceeding to answer it. For the Legal Knowledge section, the candidate must be aware of the Legal Maxims to accurately use relevant legal terminologies. So you can give flexible time to it but make sure you're constantly practice questions.
  • For English make sure your vocabulary is strong and try the previous year questions sets per week. Daily read newspapers and add new words with their meaning, synonyms , antonyms to your dictionary.
  • Hope it helps!!
