Broadly speaking, in campus placements, all companies recruit students as Software Engineers. What makes the difference is : 1.The company that is recruiting you and 2. The job role you are assigned.

The job titles for B.Tech(CSE) graduates will include:

• Database Administrator
• Software Developer
• Web Developer
• Computer Programmer
• Network Security Administrator etc.

Also, you can look into careers outside the domain like: Defence, UPSC (civil services) and MBA (then into startups) etc.

MODE OF ADMISSION

One needs to take the JEE (Main) exam and either secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination.

Admissions for all categories except OBC/BC seats are done on the basis of rank in JEE (Main) through JoSAA Counselling and CSAB Special Round.

Admissions for OBC/BC seats are done through institutional counselling. Candidates must belong to the BC-I / BC-II category of Jharkhand and should have passed their Class 12 examination from Jharkhand.

Both CA and CS are good professional courses but the duties of both CA and CS are different in a corporate world.

Generally, the duty of CA is to advise the company on financial and taxation matters of the company to reduce taxes and to work as a auditor.

While CS is a key managerial personnel of the company. He/She is a part of the senior management of the company. The board of directors take advice of a CS before complying any law. So a CS holds a good position in a company.

Both the courses are good in their fields of specialization. So you should choose the one according to your interest.
