Bachelor of Mass Media is the study of different forms of communication namely newspapers, tv, radio, and internet with providing technical skills,research aptitude and effective oral communication. There's involvement of theoretical knowledge coupled with practical training.

Job profiles include that of Sound Engineer,Director, Event Manager etc.

While  BMC is about study of  communication through varied channels like PR,Advertising,Films, etc.  Job opportunities too are here including that of magazines,print/electronic media etc.Top recruiters are CNN,BBC,Hindustan Times etc. Job profile includes that of RJ/VJ, Public Relations Officer, TV Anchor etc.

If you are not interested in Medicine then why should you opt it. If IAF gives you thrills, if it boosts your Adrenaline and if you really want to join Indian Air Force then please go for.

No, BIT MESRA does not intake Lateral entry students. Even if few seats are left in a course, it doesn't bother them and they left those few seats empty. So there is no lateral entry in BIT MESRA.

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, since you are from general category you have less chances to get shortlisted for thermal, but I suggest you to apply , also you may apply for colleges under anna university, state government colleges,

1. Experience of students
2. College Ranking
3. Scholastic record of the student
4. Academic and co-curricular profile

CGPA is also one of the major factors.

Broadly speaking, in campus placements, all companies recruit students as Software Engineers. What makes the difference is : 1.The company that is recruiting you and 2. The job role you are assigned.

The job titles for B.Tech(CSE) graduates will include:

• Database Administrator
• Software Developer
• Web Developer
• Computer Programmer
• Network Security Administrator etc.

Also, you can look into careers outside the domain like: Defence, UPSC (civil services) and MBA (then into startups) etc.

MODE OF ADMISSION

One needs to take the JEE (Main) exam and either secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination.

Admissions for all categories except OBC/BC seats are done on the basis of rank in JEE (Main) through JoSAA Counselling and CSAB Special Round.

Admissions for OBC/BC seats are done through institutional counselling. Candidates must belong to the BC-I / BC-II category of Jharkhand and should have passed their Class 12 examination from Jharkhand.
