Hello Aspirant!!!
Till date, there is no such news on the cancellation of MH-CET in Maharashtra.
Admissions to the BTech programme in COEP are on the basis of a valid MHCET/ JEE MAINS. MH-CET is conducted by the DTE (Directorate of Technical Education), Maharashtra for admissions to 1 st year B.Tech programmes in the state.
Rather, there are other private colleges which will accept HSC score for engineering course. Hope it helps. All the best.
Thank you!!!!!
Hi,
No, There is only way to get admission is through MH-CET marks.

Hello Aspirant!!!!
YES. For sure, you can take admission in COEP.
Hope you are clear. Work hard. All the best!!!!
To apply for MTech or ME courses across India you need to give the entrance exam - Graduate Aptitutde Test in Engineering simplified as GATE. This exam is conducted by IITs across INDIA and to get into various engineering colleges across the nation you need to have a valid GATE score. This exam is conducted for several engineering subjects, You need to choose your subject for giving exam . The exam is of 100 marks and last years cutoff in average was near about 36/100 . College of Engineering Pune will also take admission on the basis of these marks only.
Thank you

Hey jaya,
The MHCET is a qualifying exam to get into the college. But If you are seeking admission in a college you need to apply to the respective college then the score matters.
Thank you for visiting Careers360. I hope we helped you to solve the doubt of yours.
Being one of the best engineering colleges in Maharashtra, the cutoffs of COEP are usually higher than any other institutes. Going by last year's trends, for getting computer science/IT in College of Engineering, Pune, one needs to score around 180 and above marks in MHT CET. For mechnical, Electronics, electrical the cutoffs stay almost same, around 170 marks. So if you have scored around this, then you have decent chances there.
Hello aspirant
you have got less marks in intermediate but from which field you are? If you are from Science stream and even if you have got 50% aggregate marks then you can go for BSC and if you will appear for cet , even with 50% PCM you can get admission in engineering college.
Ancient buildings with best modern touches is a most famous building in college Overall 36 acres campus, River view and 7 8 department buildings, 2 canteens and 2 auditoriums, 1 sbi bank and atm is also inside.
The labs and their corresponding equipment are of the highest quality and majority of the faculty are experienced professionals. Classrooms are mediocre in terms of design and comfort as is the WiFi network. Libraries and sports facilities are good. Canteen is clean and hygienic however the Boat Club canteen could do with some work.
The College of Engineering Pune is very prestigious for its impressive infrastructure, which basically enhances the student experience on the campus. Classrooms are also well equipped with the Projectors, digital learning tools and also are very spacious.
