Hello Aspirant

You can't get admission in COEP Pune through JEE Mains. For that you have to give MHTCET exam and since it is very tough to get into COEP you'll need to obtain about 180 marks to ge the branch of your choice.

Also if you are a non maharashtrian, you will only be eligible for the 15% outside Maharashtra quota and therefore admission will be even more difficult.

Nevertheless if you are planning to take MHCET and are not studying from Maharashtra board, I would recommend you checking out their syllabus as it is a little difficult from CBSE and other boards and that syllabus only comes in MHCET exam.

Hello Aspirant

You will have to wait for the CET marks and you should score exceptionally well in CET as COEP is the most reputed college in Pune. You can surely get admission into COEP but if you are from other state ,You should know that in each state have their home department,So the candidates in the home category will be preferred first and then other students are preferred.

Leaving that you can surely get into COEP ,Just that you have to score very well !

I hope this helps

Regards!

Hello Aspirant,

COEP and VJTI are best colleges under MHTCET and cutoff for both of them is very high.
In order to get admission in COEP you need to score more then 160 marks in MHT CET if you belong to general category and want your desired branch..
To get admission in VJTI you need to score more then 180 marks in MHT CET for getting desired branch.

I hope this helps

hi abhishek,

for top branches like computer, electronics and telecommunication and electrical

you need score of 170+/200 to be in safe zone for general candiadate. There is no negative marking in this exam.

Maths level is at par with jee mains maths.

Physics and chemistry level is of NEET.

Total questions are 150.

to get 170+ is not that easy you have to prepare seriously for this.

hope this will help

all the best for your future!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Aspirant,

Based on previous years cut off for an OBC student to get into COEP Pune for Computer Science, a candidate should score around 160 in MHT CET while for a general student the marks should be around 170.

This is an approximated score and the actual cut off might differ.

Hello aspirant

Admission to VJTI are based on merit and are conducted by Directorate of Technical Education , Maharashtra through online centralised admission process ( CAP) as per the guidelines of Govt of Maharashtra to brought MH CET .

There is no management quota.

85% seats seats are reserved for students of Maharashtra and rest for open state.

Eligibility for b.tech - candidate should have scored more than 50% in PCM combined in 10+2 from any recognized board + MH CET

45% in PCM in case of SC/ St / OBC + MH CET score

However expected cut off for MH CET vjti will be declared after  commencement of MH CET 2020.

If you score more than 2019 vjti cut off then you can predict for  your chance to VJTI

2019 cut off

branch                                  cut off rank in round 1

Electronic engineering.            814

IT                                                   178

Mechanical engineering            630

production engineering            2302

Hello.
At 93 percentile your approximate rank would be:
60,831.
This rank is calculated by the below formula:
(100-your total percentile score)*869010/100.
hear 869010 is a number of candidate appeared for the January session of exam.
Fore college of Engineering ,Pune approximately you need to have rank under 2.5 k it is a closing rank for metallurgy engineering you can take an idea of closing rank for top branches which cognate that you have degraded chances of getting into COEP, remember it may vary according to your category also.
Best of luck.

COEP is College of Engineering Pune which also take admission through JEE Result. There is a particular criteria to meet the result for getting in this college. For the solution in this college at least you need to get 200 marks in JEE mains paper.  You will get more than 200  then only you can secure your seat.

I hope your question has been answered properly.

All the best for your future!

hi,

see cutoff score changes year to year and it depends on various factors like number of participants, question difficulty level, seat matrix, etc. till now jee main april session exam is yet to held and if number of candidates increased this time, it will have effect on your current score.

however at this score you have decent chances.
