To join coep ,the admission is purely based on merit list of candidates who have appeared for MHT-CET.

There is an option of showing your JEE -MAINS score too along with that.

As per my knowledge ,ipe marks alone won't determine a seat in COEP.

• Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed +2 examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
• Secured minimum 50 % marks (minimum 45 % marks, in case of backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates of respective States) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject added together.

There is very massive competition for acquiring seats in COEP college because Coep is one of the best colleges in maharashtra after IITBombay so the percentile require for getting seats in it will be around 97 and above and based on the branch it will vary but maximum it would reduce to 94-95.

Since you haven't mentioned your category here, this query would be answered by considering general category here. According to general cutoffs of MHT-CET in year 2018, the cutoff rank for Civil engineering at COEP was 1956. The cutoff rank for Computer engineering was 238. The cutoff rank for Electrical engineering was 1005. The cutoff rank for Metallurgical engineering was 3615.Please note the cutoffs can vary too based on factors like number of students appearing, number of seats available, difficulty level of the paper etc.

As you say, you got 87 percentile in JEE Mains so your rank may be from 1lakh to 1.1lakh approximately, your rank is good enough to get top engineering colleges.

COEP and VJTI both are the best engineering college of India and also the oldest engineering college of india, COEP established in the year of 1854 while VJTI established in the year of 1887.

These colleges Cutoff are very high so you must try in online counseling procedure and fill these collegs in the choice filling process, you may get admission in these colleges,

If you not get admission in 1st or 2nd round don't worry and try hard you must got these college even in the last round so keep trying.

Congratulation to you for securing such a good percentile in MHTCET examination. Since you have secured 99.76 percentile which is too good. Obviously, you will get a seat for IT in college of engineering, Pune if you are lying under home state quota.
