The admission process for coep pune is generally done by the Maharastra counselling body dte through CAP rounds, If you have given mhtcet then you would be eligible for entering in the counselling process ,as of now no tentative dates are given for the counselling rounds to start .From my understanding the rounds will start after the MHTCET result has been declared.You can check the dte maharastra website regularly for any more updates.

Hello Suprit, No, you cant get metallurgy engineering on these marks. 2018 closing rank marks for the last admitted general category student was 151 for male candidates and 145 for female general category candidate. You can get a Btech planning course in COEP at these marks.

There are very few chances for you to get into the core branches. Still, you should fill it as your top priority in the choice filling.

Civil Engineering - 160 to 150

Computer Engineering - 180 to 175 

Electrical Engineering - 170 to 160

Electronics Engineering - 170 to 165

Instrumentation Engineering - 165 to 155

Mechanical Engineering - 170 to 165

Metallurgical Engineering - 150 to 140

Production Engineering - 160 to 150
